PRINTED PETALS, NEW COLOR COACH, and a SAMPLE from CLASS at CAROL's

Last night our local stamping group met at the home of Carol Hartline for a fun Tropical Party and an introduction to the new catalog and Idea book by SU! One of the cards we stamped utilized the new color coach by SU! (see the previous post for info on the color coach). This card and envelope was stamped with the new stamp set called Printed Petals on our 3.5 by 5 cards and envelopes that you can buy together. I looked at my color coach to find some brand new colors from SU! that the stampers would enjoy and would make them feel happy. I found them in the New IN COLORS - poppy parade and peach parfait and a new permanent color called daffodil delight.
The New Color Coach is great because it is utilized just like the paint cards you get at the shop. I pulled these three colors out and saw that they really looked cool together. The largest flower has some peach parfait new poly ribbon and the sentiment is from the set Just Believe and is stamped in another new color called Concord Crush.
The New Color Coach is really great because it also gives some cards where you can add these combinations you like and make up yourself so that you know they go well together and can use them again. I just colored them in on the circles with my stampinwrite markers but you could alternatively punch out 1/2 inch circles from the card stock and attach them. The stampers really thought this color coach was cool and most of my stampers have ordered one already. The color coach can be unscrewed and you can add new color combos and new papers. The coach does come with color design suggestions on the back of each card so if you are not sure which colors work well together, just use the SU! suggested ones.
This is what the new stamp set looks like. What I love in this set is that the tiny flowers on the bottom left can be used with our new stamp set itty bitty bits and the new tiny buttons and punches that match it.
