Lisa Chatterjee, Hsiao-hui Lin and I are on SAFARI.  We are on the Remarkable Hot Retreat in Harrisburg Pa.  It's awesome and so much fun.  While we are enjoying ourselves, crafting and scrapbooking, here is a glimpse into our world last night.  I did this page in My Digital Studio by SU!

Yes, it's official!  I'm 30!  I think I've been 27 for forever, and the last few years, I allowed myself to get  a little older!  Today is my Birthday!  Whahoo!  And I'm in Pa for a 3 day scrapbooking and crafting event.  I'm so very excited.  Birthday and Scrapbooking?  What could be better?  Today I want to share some cards that I was given by friends.  I have lots, so I'll need to do them over the next several days to get them all posted.  I'm so grateful to all!  If I don't post your card, it may be because I didn't get a chance to photograph it yet, but know that I truly love all of my cards and wishes!

And here is a collection of gifts from friends.  We went out a few weeks ago for our book club and they surprised me with Birthday gifts.
Thank you everyone!  I'm really enjoying this wonderful day and wonderful Birthday month.

I want to share another SU! video with you today.  Donna Griffith from the home office at SU! shared this video with all of the demonstrators.  Each month as a SU! demonstrator, I receive a FREE awesome publication called Stampin Success.  It has the best ideas and articles inside.  When you join SU! you will receive it as well along with many other perks of being a SU! demonstrator.  I love also that the SU! home office shares great videos for training and ideas like these. This is a great Birthday card she shares using the APOTHECARY ART stamp set and our NEW Framelits dies.  Enjoy!\

Here's a great sample by SU!  I love videos that are done well.  Watch this and you will see a great SU! creation today.  It's a card holder made using our New SU! Score Board and also the New Edglits dies for the Big Shot!  The project is beautiful.

I have to say that my SU! upline Janet Wakeland is just awesome.  She leads an incredible team called the REMARKABLE STAMPERS.  I am so blessed to be a part of this great team.  I have met so many great people and have made many friends through this group.  I love to go to as many team events as I can.  This past Saturday, I headed up to Pa. just up 83 to the meeting with my dear friend Lisa Chatterjee (thanks Lisa for driving!) and met up with Kathy Winland and Arleen Graham and several other Remarkable Stampers.  We listened to a great talk on Social Media.  Sherri Edelbutte and Daniele Denhardt gave some really cool statistics and tips on integrating social media with SU!  I learned so much and I laughed a lot too!  One of the best parts of the meeting is that Janet recognizes all of our achievements and rewards us with awesome make and takes and other goodies - not to mention all of her wisdom.  Here are samples of the make and takes, saleabration samples, mini occasion catalog samples for you to enjoy!  If you are interested in joining me and my SU! team please email me today.  There is a great special going on right now.

Jan had these awesome make and takes for us!  They used Sweet Shop Designer stickers (love these) and Sweet Shop Specialty DSP.  You could use any stamps you wanted.  I LOVE THESE CARDS JAN!
These are some Saleabration samples.  You have until March 31st - this Saturday to earn Saleabration goodies for FREE!

Here are some great samples from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  These are really cool.  You can purchase items from the mini until the end of April.  Order today, however, so that you earn FREE saleabration items.

Here are some more great SU! Mini Occasions samples.  So beautiful.  Click on any of these photos to see the cards up a little closer.

Thanks again Jan for a great Team Meeting and for sharing so much with all of us!

I made this card quickly last night for my mom using SU! Embossing folders, stamps, inks, and exclusive SU! Butterfly die. I think she'll like it! Maria

This was my swap card for the team mtg in Pa yesterday! I did a cool sponging technique. I used calypso coral and pool party inks on a die cut butterfly. I die cut the
butterfly using my SU! Big Shot and sponged the two inks on then stamped the image in basic black right onto it. The background card stock was embossed with the SU! Vintage embossing folder. I used silver ink all along the edges of the butterfly and embossed card stock.

Here are some photos from our wonderful evening at Linda Murphy's home.  We had a great time with friends and celebrated the arrival of spring.  Linda made us a great dinner.  We celebrated Dale's birthday and my birthday and we had some great stampin fun!
This was the counter with salads and all kinds of additions for the salad, plus salmon, chicken, ham, and shrimp.

Everyone loved the meal.  It was so lovingly prepared.
Linda is already for Easter.  I love this Egg tree.
It was nice to see Cathy Weir again.
This is a lovely card that Linda Murphy made for everyone!
Linda Kincaid helped me demonstrate.  She showed the SU! Edglits and Framelits.  So cool!
Robin Delmonte joined us for the first time.  She did a great job!
Linda and Rita are working on their cards.
Lovely Linda sharing her work of art.
It's always great to see Sharon!
Sharon, Brenda and Sandi are crafting!
 This was Robin's creation.
Pat is using our new scoreboard.

Some of our friends looking on as the demonstration is going on.

It was a great night.  Thanks Linda for being a great hostess.  Thank you guests!  Thank you Linda K for helping to demo!

Hi everyone!  Tonight Linda Kincaid and I are doing a workshop for Linda Murphy at her home.  Linda kindly invited us to her home for dinner and we are going to do a workshop for her.  We have some demonstrations planned and then some make and takes.  I can't wait.  There's still time for saleabration and although this is not the card we are making tonight, it uses some of the same products.  Special Thanks to Lisa Chatterjee for this lovely card!

I love Lisa's clever use of the designer paper and brads!

My friend Sandi was just sitting in the audience at Martha Stewart yesterday when the Director comes up to her and says "Come with Me."  Sandi asked if I could come along and I was delighted.  We saw everything in the studio up close and personal.  Here's Sandi up in the front with the Director.  Way to Go Sandi!

My friend Sandi Haertig took me to New York City for the day.  We had an fun time on the bus up to NYC and arrived in the city just in time to have lunch with my sister Christina Deyo who is Martha Stewart's top producer.  She arranged for us to sit in on the afternoon taping of the Martha Stewart show which is airing this Friday March 23rd, 2012.  We were so excited.  My sister told us all about the production end of things and how the show works. We saw the planning of the next several shows, which was really really cool.  We then went over to the studio and were given VIP seats up in the front.  Wow!  So cool!  While we were waiting for all of the audience guest members to be seated, we were just overwhelmed with the beautiful scenery of the studio.  Then out of the blue, the Director of the show comes up to Sandi and selects her as the audience member of the day. I'm pretty sure he didn't know that I was the sister of Christina.  He wanted to give her a personal tour of the set and she asked if I could come.  WOW!  Was this our lucky day or what.  He took us all over and showed us everything.  We loved the kitchen and the craft rooms the best.  I'm going to have to make some scrapbook pages of the great photos I took.  Here's just a few photos that I took and placed in a My Digital Studio page.

Of course we got to meet Martha again and had a wonderful little chat with her.  Martha just had a new grand baby- who was a premie. She told us that he just came home. She asked for my card since I'm a NICU doctor, in case she had any questions.  Wow!  Can you imagine Martha asking you for your info?  After our tour of the set, the Director asked us if we wanted a cappuccino.  Can you believe he made each of us one?  Yum! Then the show featured several segments, but one was on pizza making.  We got a great lesson from a very famous chef Jim Lahey.  We even got to taste Martha's pizza - ham and peas on top. Ok, I also thought it wouldn't taste good.  Boy was I wrong.  Yum! Yum! and triple Yum!  You can bet that I will be making this pizza, especially since we got the lesson and now have the book!

Thanks Sandi for a great trip to NYC and thanks Christina for arranging our visit with Martha!

Here's a card I made with some SU!
Designer papers! I also used the Fresh Vintage Saleabration stamp set (garden green dotted pattern behind the word friends) tiny tags stamp set and the tiny tag punch as well as SU! Rhinestones. The butterflies were die cut with a SU! Embosslit. I put this little card on my friends desk at work as we welcome spring.

I finally took out my Tim Holtz supplies and used them with some of my SU! supplies to make this manly card.  I just sent it off to my brother whose birthday is Monday March 19th.  I used SU! card stock and inks and the happy birthday sentiment is from TEENY TINY WISHES set.  The other stamps and the inside of the card are Tim's.  I also used some of his gold distress ink and I LOVE it!  The embellishments are spinners by Tim.  I embossed with one of his embossing folders also.  Every once in awhile I have to change it up a little.  This card is a little out of my comfort zone but I'm happy with the results.
This is one of the coolest stamps I own that is not SU!  I did use soft suede SU! classic ink to stamp this and also the envelope below.

The Wish Big sentiment and the stamp as well as the alphabet to stamp my brother's name are all by SU!

There are only 2 more weeks left of SU! Sale-a-bration to take advantage of and to earn FREE SU! products.  Here's another card with SPRINKLED EXPRESSIONS that I stamped using the stamp set I earned FREE!  Great for a spring card, don't you think?  The ribbon is also part of a package I earned FREE during saleabration as well as the piece of dsp directly below the ribbon.

I love this card because it really showcases well the pack of Everyday Elegance designer paper you receive with your FREE package of DSP.  It's just gorgeous.  Lisa Chatterjee and I got together to stamp a few weekends ago and all we did was use our FREE SU! Saleabration supplies we earned.  Lisa wanted to make thank you cards for some healthcare workers and she found a similar card in the saleabration catalog and CASED it.  I love it Lisa.  Less than 2 weeks left to earn your FREE saleabration goodies.  Order today.

What a great day today.  Feel so lucky!  Hope you have lots of luck come your way today.

Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!
