I have another MDS2+ page I digitally created and wanted to share with you.  This was a pre-made digital page that I colored with the new function on MDS2 and also added some new embellishments to.  Lots of fun to play along with digital.

PERFECTLY PRESERVED - 2 MORE AWESOME SAMPLES

I've been so happy with this PERFECTLY PRESERVED stamp set by SU!  There are a gazillion ideas out there on the web on what you can fill the mason jar with and I'm starting to see even more ideas on PINTEREST.  You can follow me on PINTEREST by clicking on my PINTEREST link on the right side of my blog or any of these pinterest red highlighted areas here.  I have some great categories of crafts, handmade cards, STAMPIN UP! and more.  Please check out PINTEREST.  It's one of the hottest websites out there for AWESOME CRAFTING ideas.  I also have some great ideas for recipes and baking, photos and prints and so much more!

I used my French version of the stamp set above.  I die cut the flowers that come with the set and punched out the merci.  Love this.  The background card stock is embossed with my BIG SHOT and the SU! exclusive Lattice folder.

I love the sentiment on the inside of the card from the SU! set TRUST GOD.

I may have shown this card before.  It was worth showing again.  It's another great one using the same PERFECTLY PRESERVED stamp set and I have die cut the mason jar, the pear and the topper for the jar.  The background card stock is stamped and then embossed with the HOUNDSTOOTH embossing folder for SU!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELA-YOU'RE AMAZING

My sister in law reached a milestone birthday this year.  I wanted to celebrate with her.  Here's the card that we sent her - I used the new CHAMPAGNE GLIMMER PAPER to die cut the 50 with my BIG SHOT by SU! The stamp set used is by SU! called YOU'RE AMAZING!

The ticket wheel is really cool (red at bottom of the card). And we have a ticket duo punch that punched the winner ticket.  Yeah SU!  Really cool new items!

CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS BY DEB LEHIGH

I was in a Holiday Catalog swap last month and one of the most beautiful cards I received was from a fellow stamper and friend - DEB LEHIGH.  She used the NEW SU! STAMP SET called CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS.  I love this Deb.  You did an awesome job and I LOVE the font of the sentiment.

What's really cool, also - is that Deb used a SU! DAHLIA in the center of the poinsettia.  How clever was that?  Click on the card above to see it up closer.

HELLO FRIEND MEETS PAPILLON POTPOURI

Here's a great new card I made today for my mother.  I used the HELLO FRIEND stamp set to stamp the silhouette in lucky limeade ink.  The butterfly is stamped with one of the butterflies from the PAPILLON POTPOURRI stamp set and then punched out with the NEW SU! BUTTERFLY PUNCH.

The background card stock is calypso coral and I've embossed it with the fancy fan folder.  I also stamped the sentiment from the stamp set FRIENDLY PHRASES.
The inside was also stamped in lucky limeade.  I love how clean and neat the "hello" stamps.

JP MEETS THE ORIOLE BIRD AGAIN

Here's an MDS2+ digital scrapbook page I designed myself.  I imported the Orioles logo as a photograph into a circle punch.  I added embellishments like the glimmer brads, washi tape, NEW striped ribbon from the NEW SU! HOLIDAY catalog and more.  I matched the background orange color to the Oriole bird.  This was an amazing night for us to sit behind home plate in the Orioles Best Seats owned by Peter Angelos.  We were really lucky that the net was there because there were a lot of foul balls coming at over 90 mph.  The view was great and it was really cool to see the Orioles players up so close. This photo of JP with the Orioles bird was the icing on the cake.

JUST BELIEVE

Here's a card I made for some friends.  I made 3 of these cards and gave them away.  This card uses the stamp set JUST BELIEVE from SU!

Here's my envelope.  I used the JUST BELIEVE, CREATIVE ELEMENTS (butterfly)
and SUMMER SMOOCHES set (rose red flowers) on a confetti envelope.  The card stock was textured using the BIG SHOT for SU! with exclusive SU! embossing folders.
These are some great SU! stamp sets!

DIGITAL PAGE OF MY SISTER'S CHILDREN

My sister sent me this awesome photo of her 6 children.  I immediately put it into digital scrapbook form using SU! My Digital Studio 2+.  Loving this program.  I can design an entire digital scrapbook in an afternoon!  So cool. Try the program out for free.  Email me for details or go to www.mydigitalstudio.net for more info.

The background digital designer paper is Green Tea 8 and the sentiment is the stamp brush set SO TYPEFELT.  I transformed the photo into black and white - what a great advantage of digital programs!!!!  Aren't the children beautiful?

PERFECTLY PRESERVED AND NEW CORE'DINATIONS TEXTURE CARD STOCK

The NEW SU! HOLIDAY CATALOG has some pretty cool stuff in it. I spotted this NEW TEXTURED CORE'DINATIONS paper that you emboss with the BIG SHOT and then with a sander you sand the embossed part and it reveals some core color underneath.  This example looks just like wood!  WOW!
I used the PERFECTLY PRESERVED stamp set with the matching framelits to die cut the mason jar, the fabric cover, the pear and leaves as well as the apothecary framelits with the paper piercing tools and templates by SU!

The CORE'DINATIONS card stock comes in cherry cobbler, early espresso and gumball green.  These are the perfect colors for FALL and CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY projects.  Look above in the photo and see the holiday card from SU!  Any embossing folder can be used and sanded.  The folder above is really cool.  It's also NEW in the Holiday Catalog and is called  LACY BROCADE. It's absolutely gorgeous!  We may need to craft with this at our next card making class.

Use 80 lb. sandable card stock to create an antiqued, distressed, color-popping look with this NEW SU! CARD STOCK. Outside layers are exclusive Stampin' Up! colors--one side textured, one side smooth. Inside layer is a monochromatic color. Reveal inside layer by sanding, tearing, or distressing. 12 sheets; 12" x 12"; acid- and lignin-free. Use with Stampin' Sanding System and Core'dinations Dust Buddy.

This is the woodgrain embossing folder.  You either get the look above or you sand your core'dinations card stock and get the look of the card at the top.  It's really cool.  Natural wood look. Perfect card background for any season. Folder: 4-1/2" x 6-3/8". Use with Big Shot machine, Multipurpose Platform, and Standard Cutting Pads.

TWO CARDS FROM CLASS AT RITA'S

I wanted to share 2 of the cards we made at Rita's house last Thursday night.  We had a SU! class and it was so much fun.

We used the BLUE RIBBON stamp set on this card.  I die cut the designer paper using the banner framelits and flipped them up a little for dimension.  The background card stock was embossed with the SU! EXCLUSIVE CHEVRON embossing folder.
The elephant and the inside sentiment come from the stamp set YOU'RE AMAZING.  The ticket on the front of the card in the first photo above also comes from the same stamp set but it was punched out using the NEW SU! TICKET DUO punch.
This card is pretty cool because the background paper was designed in MDS.  I used a variety of SU! designer papers that went well together - designed them with MDS and then printed on white SU! ultrasmooth card stock.  The idea is really nifty.  The jar and the flowers inside as well as the sentiments come from the PERFECTLY PRESERVED stamp set.
I used the flowers from this set to stamp on the inside.

OMG, Almost forgot to share with all of you that SU! designer fabric is on sale for only 99 cents.  That's right!  A huge deal at 90 % off select fabrics.  This is while supplies last.  I am ordering for local customers today.  Long distance see your demonstrator or place an order on my DBWS.

STAMPIN UP! MDS2+ SYMPATHY CARD

My sister's father in law passed away Friday night from complications related to cancer.  This is one of the sympathy cards I made for her.  I used a template from the SU! program My Digital Studio.  This card was so quick and easy to make and then print, that I had it sent within a few moments of printing it.  This month SU! has 31% off on select printing and digital discs and downloads.  It's a great time to get started in digital crafting.  I basically just downloaded the card.  I added my own personal touch with the baker's twine which started out as pear pizzaz. I changed the color using the NEW FEATURE of the MDS2+ program to recolor the twine to soft suede.  Love the new version of MDS - great features and easy to use.

PERFECTLY PRESERVED

I think I mentioned that the NEW stamp set called PERFECTLY PRESERVED by SU! is probably my favorite NEW stamp set in the HOLIDAY catalog.  Mason jars are HOT HOT HOT!  This is one of the cards I made this past week.  I love stamping the image and then taking the coordinating framelit and die cutting the image with the BIG SHOT.  It's so much fun and it's great INSTANT GRATIFICATION.  I saw a card similar to this in the Stampin Success magazine for demonstrators this month.  Their card was a 4 by 4 I think and this is a regular A2 card - 5.5 by 4.25 inches in size.
I did stitch on this card with my sewing machine!  Had fun doing that.  I used SU! designer paper and I die cut the mason jar and the accessories (like the pear and the stem with leaves) using the NEW SU! FRAMELITS that coordinate with this stamp set.  I bought these as part of a bundle and saved 15% by buying them together.  The butterfly is from the PAPILLON POTPOURRI stamp set and I punched the butterfly out with the NEW SU! butterfly punch.  I added a ribbon and the banner sentiment and I have a terrifically cool card!

STAMPING FUN AT RITA GORRICK'S HOME

Here are some photos from a really fun time at Rita's on Thursday night.  We had a great Stampin Up! class and made some cool cards.  I think I photographed everyone by Hsiao hui.  Rita made an awesome dinner for all of us and we really enjoyed crafting and girl talk.
Here's Linda and Sharon completing the first card.
I'm proud of Merrill embossing for the first time.
Sandi overlooks Gretchen embossing for the first time also.  Wow!  lots of virgin embossers.
Pat always does a nice job.
Leslie and Pat show off their envelope designs.
Another great job at card making by Merrill.
The three musketeers - mmm...I mean demonstrators - Maria, Sandi and Linda.  Hsiao hui had to leave early. She had been up the night before delivering babies so she demo'd a card and had to head to sleepytime.
Connie's first time at one of my classes.  Well, not exactly true.  Connie and Dawn had a personal Big Shot class a few months ago.
Dawn did a great job with her card.
Sharon showing the card that Hsiao hui taught.
 Maime, Elizabeth and Merrill.
This is Elizabeth's first time at a SU! class.  She is trying out embossing.  Everyone did a great job.
The ladies are proud of their work and so am I.  This is a really cool group of ladies that I love to work with.
Sandi and I together looking on as Merrill heat embosses with the SU! tempting turquoise embossing powder.
Maime, Gretchen and Leslie are crafting.
