WEDDING CARD USING BELLA BLUE

This is a gorgeous card that Young Brown demonstrated for us at the last class at Paulette's home. She used the Bella Bleu papers by SU! crumb cake (replacing Kraft cs) and bordering blue card stock. Bordering Blue is one of my all time favorite card stock colors and it is retiring June 30th. There is still time to get retiring card stock and designer paper from the current catalog. Bella Bleu will also retire June 30th. The Bella Bleu papers are just below.
Young used the bouquet from the Blissful Bride stamp set (in current SU! summer mini catalog) for the stems and the ribbon. She then punched 8 scallops from the designer paper and made slits in every other scallop. Next she layered all of the scallops and attached them with a brad. Once they are attached to your stamped card stock, you can primp them just like she did here -to give it a 3 dimensional gorgeous effect that it is a real flower.

The antique look of the flower comes from spraying the scallop circles with gold glow smooch spritz.

This is the Blissful Bride set. I just love it!
This card is actually a fancy fold card. Do you see how Young has it opening. She used the slot punch to hold the ribbon and tie the card together. Very clever.
The cake is stamped using a stamp from the Blissful Bride. The sentiment is amazing and from the Ever After set that is retiring June 30th.

Ever After set is pictured below.
