SPOOKY HALLOWEEN BIG SHOT LATTICE WAY

Hsiao-hui designed this card for the Big Shot class we had at my house last night. She used the BIG SHOT MACHINE and the NEW LATTICE die from SU! to die cut the window and a stencil from window sheeting. This is such a cool card and a great idea. Just line up the die in the center of the card stock which has a piece of designer paper adhered to the front.
The dsp is is Cast a Spell and perfect for Halloween or Fall. Underneath the die cut window she placed the new Night and Day Specialty paper. In that pack comes some designer window sheeting with black polka dots. This is a really cool effect. Stamp images from the Halloween stamp set House of Haunts (in the main idea book #111574 only $22.95).
Stamp the Happy Halloween Sentiment on pumpkin card stock and punch out with the scallop oval punch mounted to a large oval punched from basic black card stock. The Haunted mansion is stamped on only orange card stock and cut out with paper snips. Use your white gel pen - per Hsiao-hui - to color in the windows for a more eerie and pronounced effect. This card is wonderful when closed or open as you can see below. In the card below, Hsiao-hui taught us how to use the die cut as a stencil (she had us die cut one from thicker window sheeting to use as the stencil that we could keep for future use). We sponged pumpkin pie in different shades on white card stock on the inside.
Such a fabulous design Hsiao-hui. Notice how the envelope uses a great new wheel called Haunting Hill. I colored my moon and some of the pumpkins in pumpkin pie ink using my stampinwrite markers and highlighted tombstones and the hills with going gray stampinwrite marker. Notice that I also stamped a ghost from the stamp set batty for you on my envelope and colored him in. I can't wait to send the other cards I made for Halloween to family and friends.
