A TRULY PRICELESS CARD

This is another great card we made at the
Holiday Blues Class at Amanda's.
Cathy Weir taught this card - the
easel card. I think this is one of the coolest cards. It pops open and then stands up on it's own like an easel (see next photo).
Cathy used
My Digital Studio to create the sentiment. She wanted a large
Happy New Year so she printed this one out.

Here
Cathy is showing
Dawn some of the different embellishments she printed out using her new
MDS!
This is the side view showing how the card pops up like it is on an easel. I love it
Cathy!
In this photo I included the stamped envelope.
MDS is really great when you want to add something to a card or project and you don't have the stamp set, or you want to change the size.
Cathy also gave us a mini tutorial to show us some of the great things you can do with
MDS, including
printing on vellum!
The stamp set
Cathy used was the
PRICELESS stamp set (this is one of the best ones in the main idea book). It coordinates really well with the
butterfly punch. Cathy printed using
MDS on the
vellum and then
embossed before the ink dried. Isn't this the coolest technique?
