I still have a few
New Year's projects and cards to show you. At our home, this is
Happy New Year Weekend. My sister in law and brother in law are here from Allentown, Pa and we are doing
New Year's, Christmas and
Thanksgiving together. It has been quite nice. They arrived yesterday for a few days. We went to church, had dinner out at
Ledo's (yum!) and then came home to play a few games of
CLUE. Remember that one? Well,
Miss Scarlet did do it with a
lead pipe in the
Conservatory!!!! just kidding! But here is a card I did with the group at the
Holiday Blues Class at
Amanda's home. I cased it from someone but don't remember who as their name was not on the back. I love it though and only
modified it by using the snowflake side of the shimmery Christmas cocoa paper. It features an
Under $10 stamp from the
Holiday Mini Catalog that has so many great
New Years Words that you can stamp all as one or separately or punch out with
different punches like the
word window! This stamp is only available until tomorrow - Jan. 4
th! We used
Soft Suede In Color as the main card stock base and then highlighted with
Bermuda Bay and
Ultra smooth white. The ink color is
soft suede also. Notice how we highlighted the champagne glass with some
crystal effects and
dazzling diamonds to give a champagne bubbly effect.

The envelope is
kraft - something different from our usual white or ivory. We stamped the
happy definition from
define your life stamp set on the inside and the envelope back flap. That is just the sentiment we wanted to convey for the
New Year- HAPPY!
Now here is a great photo showcasing how happy I am that my son gave me a kiss on
New Year's!
Looks like a fun time was had by all! And I do love that card - such a wonderful combination of colours.
