CELEBRATING CHINESE NEW YEAR SU! STYLE

Yesterday we headed over to Hsiao-hui's home for a day of fun, fellowship, crafting, eating and good old relaxation.  It was all of this and more.  Hsiao-hui is an awesome hostess. She really outdid herself.  It was really a great day.  We had so much fun sharing good times and we combined it with crafting.  I'll be sharing our projects and more photos from this event over the next several days but since we now have a FREE My Digital Studio trial, I thought I would do an MDS scrapbook page.

I used the Everyday Enchantment digital papers that I was able to earn for FREE from saleabration (there is disc of everything from saleabration in digital format), the hearts at the bottom are part of one of the valentine downloads, the butterfly, crown and swallow are also from the saleabration digital disc, and the tea cup and the stay quote and the lace under the quote are from the stamp brush set Tea Shoppe. I've also added some rhinestone embellishments.  (note: click on photo to enlarge and see more details).

What a wonderful day we all had!

I made another MDS page - this one highlights another exciting day in NYC with one of my BFF's - Sandy Haertig.  The two of us took a stroll down Holiday Lane at Macy's!

MEETING MARTHA STEWART

A group of us were fortunate enough to meet up with Martha Stewart at her TV studio in Chelsea, NY.  We were guests of my sister Christina Deyo, who produces Martha.  Here is our photo with her designed within digital scrapbooking with SU! My Digital Studio.

A MY DIGITAL STUDIO SHARE- TRIP TO NYC

For reaching 100,000 likes on facebook, SU! gave away this awesome My Digital Studio download worth $14.95 for FREE!  I created this page using the new A DAY IN THE LIFE digital download which included, pages, embellishments, stamps, etc.  Thank you SU!

In mid December a group of us headed to NYC to tour the city, catch a Broadway Play (Addams Family), eat at great restaurants, and visit Martha Stewart Show where we came away with at least $500 each in gifts and gift cards.  We really lucked out.  The digital page above showcases us mostly at Macy's and then around the city.  It was a great trip!

HAPPY NEW YEAR - SU! MDS STYLE

Here is our Family Photo shared Digitally with SU! My Digital Studio.

Merry Christmas Snowie MDS layout

I discovered a new font and wanted to try it out.  It does this beautiful script that I used for the sentiment.  Really cool.  Also, JP and I really loved this photo we took in the snow.  All done with MDS.  Snowflakes are stamp brush snowburst.   Have you tried SU! My Digital Studio yet?  It's really cool!  What I love is that I can import any photo, font, picture, etc from anywhere into this great program.  Watch for more MDS from me!  PS do you love our snowman?

BEJEWELLED - A CHRISTMAS GIFT FROM HSIAO-HUI

I just had to share one of the first Christmas gifts I received this year.  Well, all of the Stampin Sistah's received a lovely jewellery racelet from Hsiao-hui.  We all showed them off at dinner.  Here they are showcased in a photo that I scrap booked in MDS.

Click on the photo to see the bracelets up closer.  What Bling!  Thanks Hsiao-hui!

HOLIDAY DINNER - DEMONSTRATOR GIFT EXCHANGE

Our SU! demonstrator group - Stampin Sistah's - got together for our Holiday Dinner, Card and Gift Exchange last evening.  We had a great time eating lots of food, telling stories, enjoying every one's company.  We dined at a great Italian Restaurant not too far from where I live.  The food was great and there was plenty of it.  Only 6 of the 9 of us could make it. 2 of our friends were ill at the last moment and one needed to help out at her church.  This certainly gets to be a busy time of year at the holidays.

Since I'm now completely hooked on SU! My Digital Studio program - I can't seem to show a photo without putting it in a digital layout.  I used all SU! components.  The Holiday papers were perfect for this layout.

Pictured from front to back (left) Hsiao-hui Lin, Sandi Haertig, Linda Kincaid, (right) Cathy Weir, Maria Pane (me) and Arleen Graham.  Not present - Kathy Winland, Cindy Geskey, Lisa Chatterjee.

Coming soon - the homemade cards and gifts we exchanged.

CREATING WITH MDS - THANKSGIVING AT THE OUTBACK

I had some free time today to create with MDS and thought I would share our family outing at the OUTBACK.  It is our favorite restaurant to go to and our every other Thanksgiving tradition - the years I have to work the holiday.  We all get to have the meal we love and we really enjoy this time out as a family to be grateful for all that we have.  I used our Spice Cake designer digital papers and the Thanksgiving is from the stamp brush set Calendar Basic kit.

EVENING TEA WITH FRIENDS - MDS PAGE

Recently, I had the opportunity to go to evening tea with 3 of my very best friends - Lisa Chatterjee, Sandi Haertig, and Mary Jo Beksinski - at the Mistletoe Mart in Westminster, Md.  This is a wonderful craft show that they hold every year and my second time going.  The 4 of us had a really great time.  There are several rooms of crafts and lots of Christmas.  There is a great place to eat, lots of holiday goodies, and a tea room.  I took photos of our nice evening together enjoying some Christmas tea.  The pictures were placed in this digital layout created with My Digital Studio.  If you are interested in doing digital crafting, SU! currently has a great special on MDS EXPRESS with tons of FREE downloads. Head on over to my website now and click on shop now or click on the ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA button on the right side of my blog for more info. Check out the Online Holiday Extravaganza where there are great quality SU! items up to 60% off and a great deal on MDS.

CELEBRATING SANDI'S BIRTHDAY

I also used Celebrate Any Day stamp brush set for the Happy Holidays.

ANOTHER MDS CHRISTMAS CARD AND FREEBIE FOR YOU

Hi Everyone!  I made another Holiday Card with SU! My Digital Studio.  This one took less than 30 seconds, because it was a premade card from SU! when I purchased and downloaded the stamp kit Christmas Village.  I love this set and I love the card!  I just changed some of the colors a bit, but otherwise it's the same.  And  GOOD NEWS!  Because we had over 5000 people check into My Digital Studio, we are all receiving an additional FREE digital download.  Head on over to www.mydigitalstudio.net for yours! Isn't this Exciting?

I really love the stamping and the ribbon and the pearls on this card.  This really gets me even more excited about the upcoming Holiday Season!

LEGO - A DIGITAL MDS PAGE

This is one of the premade pages I received as a

FREE DOWNLOAD from SU!

It's National Digital Scrapbook Day

and I've joined SU! this weekend to celebrate.

You can get the  FREE DIGITAL DOWNLOADS also.

Just head on over to SU! MDS website to get yours.

This page was just a drag and drop - just select your photo (drag) and drop it in the photo box.  That simple.  You could have this page done in less than a minutes.  I actually changed the words which originally said RUSH to LEGO, and I added my own text in the premade text box.  So Easy!

So cool and I love the digital tape over the photo.  SU! My Digital Studio is so Cool!

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS mds

SU! gave us this holiday page as a gift for FREE today for DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING DAY!  I was delighted as I love this tree.  I added the snowflakes and everything you see in RED to the page.  You could also make this a card and wouldn't it be great to print it and then add either SU! rhinestones or SU! pearls to the card to make it more 3D or as we call it in scrapbooking - a hybrid project?

Make sure you head on over to My Digital Studio and get your FREE DOWNLOADS today.  You can also use the website for FREE.  There are tons of ideas out there!
