MEETING MARTHA STEWART

A group of us were fortunate enough to meet up with Martha Stewart at her TV studio in Chelsea, NY.  We were guests of my sister Christina Deyo, who produces Martha.  Here is our photo with her designed within digital scrapbooking with SU! My Digital Studio.

PHOTOS FROM THE MARTHA STEWART SHOW

I am so lucky!  My sister is one of Martha's top tv producers.  Martha loves Christina.  Because Christina works there I can usually visit with Martha when I go to NYC.  I had the opportunity to take my dear sweet friend Julie into NYC to see her recently. Here are some photos from the day!  You'd never know it was raining outside, it is so bright and cheery in the studio.

This wreath is gorgeous.  You need to click on the photo to see it in more of it's glory.  It is something I would love to hang on my window or door in my home.
These paper daffodils were hand made. They are incredible.  I couldn't believe they were paper!

These silhouetted rabbits were hand cut.  Wow!  These would look great anywhere during springtime!

This is a photo of Julie and I before the show.  We were so excited to be there! We took the train in from South Orange.  It was a smooth ride.  Caught some rain just as we got into NYC.

One of the guests made home made pickled relish.  Oh my goodness it was fabulous.  They also had the best tasting cheese ever!  We brought home so many things that day. I think over $150 worth of gifts!  I wish I could show a photo of everything we got that day. It was a great day for giveaways!  I especially loved the One Kings Lane gift card!

This is Martha and her camera man on a break at the show!

Martha took questions after the show. She was amazing!
This is my sister Christina.  Martha is conferring with her at the show.
Chris had Julie and I meet Martha and she was as gracious as ever.

I can't wait to go back there in the Fall.  I'm going with Sandi and Hsiao-hui and a few other friends!

NEW YORK CITY ADVENTURE

A TRIP TO THE MARTHA STEWART SHOW

10 of us trekked up to NYC from Baltimore to be guests in the audience of the Martha Stewart Show. We had the most wonderful time! Martha was such a gracious hostess!
Here Martha is answering guests questions. She is so tall and thin up close. She is so gracious and nice. Our group was able to make special arrangements with producer Christina Deyo and her crew to not only be the guests but to have a photo op with Martha. We had a professional photograph done with her so once that is available I'll share it with all of you on my blog!
The studio is really amazing. So many lights and cameras and action! Everyone knows exactly what to do there. They are really an incredible crew!

Joey Kola - a comedian - warms up the audience. He is so nice. He remembers me from coming in past years and calls me the head of the Christina Deyo fan club. You really should check him out if he comes to your town. He is really funny. Also you need to check out Christina's blog. She is a talented producer. Debbie, Hsiao-hui and Carla in the audience right before the show. They are so excited to be here. Notice Carla's sweater...she knitted it herself.
We are waiting here right before the show, Me, Diana and Carla.
Dale and I got to sit in the front row. Dale was so impressed with the entire production.
Pat and Amanda are getting ready for the show.
Pat N, Susan and Diana in the audience.
Amanda stamped a card and envelope for Martha. We all donated money to one of Martha's dear charities - the Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai - which is such a good cause that is worth looking into.

We had such a great time. I have more photos of NYC and Martha to share so keep an eye out for them! Can't wait for our next adventure!
