AN EVENING OF STAMPING

This past thursday we had a GREAT stamping class. We were very fortunate in that we had 4 demonstrators and 6 projects. Here is a photo of one of the projects. Linda Kincaid used the petal card sizzix die for the BIG SHOT and made these pocket hearts. They are gorgeous. Not only did she die cut them with designer paper, she also embossed them with our new exclusive TEXTURZ plates. She also used our LOVE YOU MUCH stamp set which is adorable. In addition to the heart pocket, she also made these little pouches that hold a chocolate. These are just perfect for Valentine's Day and a few photos down, there is a pocket heart somewhat enlarged that Hsiao-hui Lin-Leonard made. Here is one of the petal dies embossed and glittered. Inside is a Chocolate Dove Candy. Mmmm, my favorite. This is one of the samples Linda made. She also made all of the ones in the photo above. Katie Ford was a guest demonstrator. It was unanimous! She did a fabulous job. Linda K. thought that she should become a real demonstrator and she certainly would be good at it. Katie if your watching, think about it. Katie demonstrated the glitter window technique. We have a flip file that we are keeping of all the different techniques. On the back of each 6 by 6 tech card is the directions so you can make it again. Prior to the class, technique cards can also be preordered for $5 each. Katie's design is certainly an awesome addition to our files. I'll show the card she did up close in a future post. Here is Hsiao-hui's heart pouch. Really gorgeous. What teacher or girlfriend wouldn't love one of these. I may have my son make a few of these for teachers for valentine's day. What a great gift! The next demonstrator was Cathy Weir. She has been doing quite a bit of demonstrating for us these days and she is really good at it. We have loved!!!her cards and have invited her to to the class on February 19th - Time to Sale-a-brate class. Cathy is pictured with her back to us. She has the gorgeous long blond hair. Standing next to her is our beloved Donna. She loved the BIG SHOT demo and all we did with that. Donna is going to be purchasing a BIG SHOT starter kit during saleabration. I told her that her order is going to qualify her for 4 saleabration items and she is ecstatic! This is certainly the time to consider the larger purchases. For every $50 worth of merchandise from Stampin Up! you receive a saleabration stamp set, dsp, or ribbon for free! and if you order from my website, you get an IDEA book for free while supplies last. This photo features Rebecca doing the glitter window technique. This was one of the easiest, but most elegant cards we have ever made. Here is the card that Cathy Weir designed using the Bella Birds Paper, curvy verses and the new SALEABRATION STamp Set called polka dot punches. Each of the stamp sets coordinates with an exclusive SU! punch! If you get all of the punches you can get this stamp set for free!
