RemARKable Going Green Blog Tour - DAY 3

BROWN PAPER PACKAGES - EH....BOOK COVERS!
This may take you back to your school days. Did you ever have to cover a textbook? I've been helping my son to get his done for the last few years, so with the Remarkable Going Green tour, this project came right to mind. You need on large paper bag for each book you want to carry.
Wrap the book with the paper bag turning the paper bag inside out so that you have a palette to work on. Once the book is covered, give it to your child with stamps and inks to color. My son is JP and we used the jumble alphabet stamps to title the book. The design on the cover is one of my absolute favorite stamp sets - extreme elements. Use bright and bold ink colors. They will really stand out great.

I helped JP do quite a few of his books - religion, math, social studies....so many different books to cover and recycle those paper bags.

  1. LOL! I remember using paperbags to make book covers when I was in HS and I used markers to decorate them. Had my kids to the same for awhle in grade school, until they decided they didn't want to anymore. Thanks for the memories!
