AWESOME TECHNIQUE CARD

STIPPLING AND WINDOW EFFECT TECHNIQUE

Hsiao-hui Lin did a great job at holiday stamp camp last Saturday. We lucked out because she demonstrated two techniques for us instead of one. The card above is just gorgeous and is an original creation. Hsiao-hui used the SU! stamp sets Scenic Season and Wandering words. The photo just does not do this card justice. It is so beautiful in person. One of the things that makes this card so beautiful is that Hsiao-hui also demonstrated a third technique that involved embossing. She embossed the trees with handsome hunter craft ink and iridescent ice embossing powder. The trees just glistened, they were so beautiful. You can emboss with any color craft ink and it is a wise investment to purchase craft ink spots because then you have all of your favorite colors to emboss with and they come in all of your favorite SU! color groups.
These are the techniques that she wanted to highlight. The stippling was really cool and the window technique was a bonus.
Hsiao-hui also embossed Santa and his sleigh using SU! gold embossing powder. At the holidays you certainly want to add the glitz to your cards. The stippling was done with a stipple brush and brilliant blue and tempting turquoise classic inks. Other blue inks could be used as well. The designer paper is merry moments.
