EMBOSSED HOLIDAY CD TIN AND CARDS
Welcome to the REMARKABLE HOLIDAY BLOG TOUR DAY TWO. I hope you are enjoying all of these wonderful ideas for last minute cards and gifts. Today I wanted to showcase the gift I made for my ustamp swap friend Liz L. in Australia. The CD tin is embossed with silver embossing powder using the stamp set many merry messages. This is the perfect sentiment stamp set for the upcoming Holidays.
Inside the tin I have mini note cards that are just perfect to send notes, holiday wishes and thank yous. The cards and envelopes are by SU! and are made perfect with SU! ultra smooth white card stock. These come packaged all ready to stamp and decorate. I used several different stamp sets with real red ink and the Christmas Jingle simply scrappin kit.
The stamps used here are from Punch Pals. The sentiment from many merry messages unless otherwise noted.
This sentiment and snowflakes on the envelope are stamped using the stamp set snow swirled. These snowflakes are gorgeous. Seasons Greetings on the front of the card is stamped using Four the Holidays stamp set from the Holiday Mini catalog.
I used a real red fire colored rhinestone brad by SU! in the middle of the die cut snowflake above. I added a dimensional to the back so it really "popped" off of the card. The sentiment is from the stamp set Christmas Greetings and the skaters are from Winter Post set.
The designer paper and die cuts on these cards are all from the Christmas Jingle simply scrappin kit. This kit is great for cards, scrapbooking and 3D crafts. Do you recognize the very popular stamp DASHER on the front of this envelope. Did you know it is one of the best selling stamps that SU! made this year?
I brushed real red ink along the edges of all of the cards and envelopes to give a highlighted soft look. You can achieve this look by lightly sponging your ink along all of the edges of your work. The stamps used here are the snowflake from Winter post and the Happy Holidays from the Four the Holidays stamp set in the mini.
Here is another look at the embossed tin. I added 5/8 inch real red grosgrain ribbon in a blow on the outside and added a home made punched tag using punch pals stamp set and several SU! punches - word window, modern label and large oval.
The Christmas Jingle simply scrappin kit has 2 of every die cut page and lots of textured card stock and designer paper that is really gorgeous. This has to be one of the best kits SU! has produced. The price is really great and you can make over 50 cards with this kit.
