NEW CARDS and FLORES SUAVES

This is Flores Suaves, a stampin up set from the Hispanic SU! catalog/idea book. It is a fabulous set and everyone is talking about it. Last night I used this set with my customers at a small class at Carol's house in Parkville. This set is perfect for water coloring, using markers, embossing, you name it. It is available for all even though it is not in the regular SU! idea book and the price is great!

We stamped this set on the walk in the park designer paper which is on sale buy 3 of any dsp and get any dsp free (textured 12 by 12 card stock is also on sale and you can mix and match dsp's and card stock, but only until May 30th). We stamped with basic black classic ink or staz on ink onto the dsp and then colored it in with stampinwrite markers. The next step was to adhere the dsp to the cameo coral card stock (it matches perfectly) and then to apply crystal effects onto the images to give it a clear epoxy raised look. Did you ever think to stamp on designer paper?

We then used this same technique to stamp just beachy stamp set on the dsp called Good Morning Sunshine. We colored the car with the surf board, the sun and the flip flops after stamping them in basic black. This was adhered to old olive card stock and again we added crystal effects for that clear raised epoxy type image. These cards were my original ideas.

The tags are from the Big Shot sizzlet die cut set called Lots of Tags and I stamped happy days on one of them from the Many Happy Returns set. The other tag is stamped celebrate and is from the stamp set in the mini occasions catalog called matchbox messages and coordinates with the matchbox die for the Big Shot. This card was my original idea.

This last card uses fifth avenue floral stamp set. We used pastels to color in the rose after the image was embossed with gold embossing powder. The top note was die cut with the Big Shot using Tangerine Tango card stock and cut in half and overlapped. I also added tangerine tango dsp. The leaves are another Big Shot die cut and they are cut out of gold dsp. The base of the card is ultrasmooth white card stock that was texturized with the diamond embossing plate by SU! for the Big Shot. It gives is such an elegant look. A jewel brad compliments the card. This card was cased from Janet Wakeland, my upline.
