WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS CARD CLASS TONIGHT

We had a GREAT CHRISTMAS CARD class tonight.  There were 9 of us in class (10 if you count my cute doggie Luigi who came up at the end of class) at my home.  We made 4 cards and this lovely Christmas card box. The sentiment on the card box is one of my all time favorite Christmas stamps from the stamp set called Christmas Classics. Yes, I finally got that stamp set.

Here are some photos from class. The first two show some of the attendees.

Those that attended included Rita Gorrick, Donna Perlman, Pat Nuckels, Dale Trott, Cathy Stritch, Lori Butler, and Peggy Kincaid.

Here are 2 of the cards we made.  I'll post the other 2 tomorrow.
This card uses a Big Shot texturz plate on the old olive card stock and the Christmas designer paper called jolly holiday.  The stamp set is Contempo Christmas and it has a great coordinating wheel that we didn't use yet.  The ornament punch works great on this card!  The card stock is Cherry Cobbler and it is so rich.  I felt like I was working on velvet.
This card uses the stamp set Winter Post and also uses the level 3 hostess set called Occasional Quotes.  We used the brushed gold paper on top of soft suede card stock. The ink colors are real red, early expresso and chocolate chip.  The sentiment on the front of the card is from Heard from the Heart stamp set.

Ok...more of the cards tomorrow.
