MORE STAMP CAMP - TECH CARD - BLEACH STAMPING WITH HSIAO-HUI

This is a great technique card that Hsiao-hui Lin demonstrated for us. It is two different types of bleach stamping. I just love this card and it is probably my new favorite technique now. I can't wait to try other designs. Hsiao-hui used the new melon mambo in color card stock as well as chocolate chip, whisper white and old olive. The stamp sets were oval all from the new SU! Idea book which is in the punched scallop oval that hangs from the bottom, the sentiment which is from heard from the heart, and the main daisies done in bleach which is from the stamp set called upsy daisy. If you notice, this is a 3D type card. The melon mambo card stock is embossed with the SU! texture plate for the Big Shot!

Hsiao-hui got a styrofoam try and on it put some paper towels with a little bit of bleach. She showed us that we put our stamp to the wet bleach towels to get the bleach on the stamp. Next stamp the card stock and you will get the bleached image that you see in the circle in the tech card. Next she showed us another technique - writing with bleach. This was very cool.

You fill an aquapainter with bleach and paint the veins on the leaves. I love it.

Here is a close up of the painting on the leaves with bleach. This really added to the project. We also had another project that used these same leaves (they are a Big Shot sizzlet) and everyone wanted to paint the leaves again after learning this great technique.
