REMARKABLE BLOG TOUR DAY 4 - SWEET TREATS and ANOTHER BUILD A BEAR COSTUME

Today is the last day of the Remarkable Blog Tour. Don't forget to post a comment on today's post so that you will be eligible for a prize. I will be posting winners in the next couple of days, so stay tuned. You will need to see if you are a winner. I do want you to know that I try to post almost every day if I can. I have so many cute ideas to share and my personal team is really talented. If you are in the local Baltimore, Maryland area check us out. We have at least 2 classes a month and our next class is at my house on the 23rd. We're going to be doing a card featuring the autumn splendor stamp set that I featured on day 1 with the embossed leaves, plus lots of other cool ideas. I live in Lutherville which is northwest Baltimore. Look me up and join me some time.

For today's post, I chose to highlight the sweet treats stamp set. I think this is one of the hit sets of the season in the new holiday mini catalog. For class on Friday night I asked my downline, Hsiao-hui to create and she came up with these 2 great card ideas. The first uses the new Christmas papers in the main idea book called Merry Moments. The paper is double sided gorgeous for the holidays. She used the ornament stamp for this card and also used the Big Shot to cut out the joyful sizzlit die. It is only $5.50 US and quite a bargain. I also love her use of the new real red stitched ribbon. This sweet treats card has another ornament on the inside that moves so that
you can get the treat out.
I love how Hsiao-hui used the ornament for the back. Great idea.
Here is Hsiao-hui's Halloween card using the sweet treats set.
This card has a bookmark that is removable to get the treats.
The back of the bookmark covering the treats is stamped with the under $10 stamp little boo.
Remember how I did the bear the other day with the pumpkin costume? Well the same die has a witches hat and broom. Way too cute. I did this bear as the pumpkin costumed bear's companion. Tomorrow I'm going to show you some build a bear cards that use the coordinating stamp set.
Thanks again everyone for joining the blog tour. Lots more to come this week so feel free to return here again to check me out. In the meantime, continue on the tour with Michelle.

  11. I enjoyed the Joyful card by Hsiao-hui and was very happy to find out how to get the treat out. It concerned me that folks would have to destroy the card to get the treat.
