AUTUMN SPLENDOR SHIMMER PAINT EMBOSSING
This is another great card that Katie demonstrated at my home on Weds. and Thursday. She used the new stamp set Autumn Splendor and the new fall papers Autumn Meadows. The key to the elegance of this card is the technique of embossing with shimmer paints. Katie showed us how to apply the new shimmer paint to card stock and then emboss that while it is wet with clear embossing powder. Embossing has never been so elegant. After you emboss, you color the leaves with your sponge daubers.
Paulette and Pat are enjoying the coloring or shall I say "daubing" process.
Here you get an idea of how well the shimmer paint embosses and leaves a sparkle.
After you have colored your leaves, you cut them out with your paper snips and attach them to the card with dimensionals. These are just gorgeous and I thank Katie for another great card.
