Today starts the
Holiday Blog Tour by the
Remarkable Stampers. I'm thrilled to be a part of the tour showcasing different stamp sets from the Holiday Mini. For the next 4 days we will be showing lots of great art work with samples you will love to copy. Leave me a comment each day and I will choose several to win great
SU! prizes! If you post a comment each day you will be eligible for the grand prize,
Today, I'm featuring the stamp set
Autumn Splendor (116503) and the new
Autumn Meadows designer paper (116769). I chose to emboss the leaves and the acorns from the set in gold on
chocolate chip card stock. This is a really neat effect. I embossed them all with
SU! gold embossing powder at the same time for all of the cards and the box shown below then at my leisure cropping with the
remarkables, I cut them out and designed the cards below.

Here you can get an even better idea of how nicely these stamps emboss. Embossing a bunch at the same time really saves time. Don't you just love this
hounds tooth paper from the
autumn meadows papers? The card stock base is
pumpkin pie and it goes so well with the
chocolate chip. The sentiment is from
teeny tiny wishes.
In this next card I did the same but used the
scallop edge punch on the
hounds tooth paper and added the leaves to
more mustard card stock. The sentiment is
Grateful Greetings from the new
Holiday Mini stamp set by the same name. This stamp set has 12 different greetings in it that can be used for all of the major holidays from now until Valentine's day.
I also embossed the sentiment with
gold embossing powder.
This paper is also a part of the
autumn meadows designer paper. This paper pack is really versatile and has so many different colors in it.

For the box, I used my
Big Shot for box number 2. After I die cut the box I ran the
bright blessings wheel in
old olive ink over the box. The card stock used for the box was
kraft card stock and the ribbon is
chocolate chip taffeta. This would really make a nice table setting for thanksgiving and inside you could write a poem or thankful thoughts about the person who was seated at that spot.
and don't forget to come back here tomorrow for more and to leave a comment for your chance to win.
