THE MORE THE MERRIER WINDOW SHEET CARD
Leave it to Katie Ford to come up with another clever card. This is a card that has a neat window in the front so you can see the cupcakes inside and out. Katie cased the idea from another demo Dawn Griffiths, but this card is entirely her own. Katie demonstrated this card at my house last night and will do a slightly different one tonight at the second class. This card uses the new designer paper by SU! called Pawstitively Prints. The paper is in the new SU! holiday mini catalog with the Build a Bear stamps and Big Shot Dies. As you can see, this paper can be used for anything and it has such neat designs.
This is the inside of the card. Katie color matched the paper inside with stampinwrite markers to color the cupcakes which are from the hostess Stamp Set - the More the Merrier. What you can see is that the front of the card is divided by the window that is made from SU! window sheeting which is absolutely safe for cards and scrapbooking.
Amanda Hindle is seen above coloring her cupcakes.
Sandi Haertig also does a great job with her coloring.
Now is this not a happy woman? This is a Paulette Hall with all of the SU! stampinwrite markers. I love this photo!
Here you can see a little closer look at Sandi's coloring.
Katie is a fabulous teacher and most of my class attendees come to class for her unique creations and her wonderful ability to teach and make everything so simple to do, yet so elegant to look at. Katie received tons of compliments over this card. She also demonstrated another card using the Autumn Splendor stamp set and our new SU! Shimmer paints, but I want to save that for a new post since she is demonstrating that card again tonight and I want those class attendees to get the same "WOW" effect when they first see the card.
Look at Paulette smiling in the background and Pat Pytash in the foreground right next to her getting ready to make her card.
Another great photo of Sandi putting her card together.
Tomorrow I'll post some more from class. We made some really great cards I can't wait for you all to see.
