MIRACLES HAPPEN WITH SU!

 I LOVE SALEABRATION time at SU!  This is the BEST time of the Year. It's an extended Christmas for me.  So many FREE items to be earned with SU! purchases.  If you love to craft in any way, you will love SU!  Guests at Linda Murphy's home Saturday for her brunch had the opportunity to play with many of the FREE items that could be earned.  One of the stamp sets guests earned was BLOOMIN MARVELOUS. I taught shadow stamping that day and this is one of the cards we made.  It's perfect for so many occasions, especially Easter and Spring which is just about here.  We stamped the butterfly once in full strength, then again without reinking and then a third time.  Look at the gorgeous shadowing.  It's as if the butterfly is in flight.

 We used the 3.5 by 5 inch note cards and envelopes that you can purchase prepackaged from SU!  After stamping you can run your card through the BIG SHOT with an embossing folder and you get the lovely cloud effect.

This is the envelope we made to coordinate.  My envelope ink uses melon mambo and the card above uses the primrose petals ink. I'm sorry I didn't use the same ink on the envelope as the card, and vice versa.  Somehow the exact cards with envelopes got mixed up.  Oh well, you get the idea, and you get to see how some slightly different colors look.  Click on either of these photos to see them larger and in more detail.

Also...notice on the envelope that there appears to be some pink spritz in the background?  I made pink shimmer spray with rubbing alcohol and a few drops of reinker and put in NEW SU! spritzer bottles and spray for cool.
