CIAO BABY - REMARKABLE STAMP OF THE MONTH BLOG TOUR - MARCH 2013

Welcome back for the March Remarkable Stampers Stamp of the Month Blog Tour.  I'm excited to present today the CIAO BABY stamp set and it's coordinating punch.  The Stamp set is in the SU! OCCASIONS MINI CATALOG.  The coordinating mini label punch you can EARN FREE with qualifying purchase from SU! for only a few more weeks during SALEABRATION.
I decided to use the SU! BIGZ scallop envelope die for the Big Shot to make some mini envelopes that open on the side. I got the idea from the SU! SALEABRATION flyer that is out right now.  I thought that the envelopes were so cute and a REMARKABLE sideline told me that they were made from this die.  So I took a look and figured out how to fold the envelope a little differently to make these adorable envelopes.

First die cut the envelope out using your BIG SHOT.  Then go ahead and fold everything but don't put it together just yet if you want to stamp on it first or emboss it.  I'd do the stamping first, the embossing next and then go ahead and fold and adhere as shown in the next few photos.
I folded the scallop side inside, next the lower flap, and lastly the side flap.  I used tombow monoadhesive wet glue to seal these flaps.  You can purchase this from SU! if you need it.

Next you can make an adorable mini card that can slide in and out of this mini envelope.  I believe I cut mine 2.25 by 3.5 but you can cut one to your liking.  I spritzed the white ultrasmooth card stock with home made spritz that I made myself using champagne shimmer paint from SU! and isopropyl alcohol - use the new spritzers we sell in the SU! BIG IDEA BOOK to make these.
I used the Bloomin Marvelous stamp set to stamp the sentiment in basic black and the flowers and leaves and butterflies.  Then I stamped an image from the CIAO BELLA set and punched it with this great coordinating punch that you can also EARN FREE during SALEABRATION!  I love earning the punches or the dsp the most because they usually have the highest value (however, I love everything you can earn during saleabration and I try to earn most of it.  The stamp sets are usually unique to saleabration and you can't get them again when saleabration is over March 22nd).

By the way this punch is smaller than the punch in the BIG IDEA Book, so it coordinates well with that as well.
Here's a birthday sentiment stamped and punched.  I used the butterfly from the Bloomin Marvelous set - punched with it's coordinating punch (butterfly punch from the OCCASIONS SU! catalog) to make a tab on this card.  Note that the mini envelope was embossed with the NEW HONEYCOMB embossing folder for SU! and the BIG SHOT (from the Occasions Catalog - and a must have!)
The mini stamped images, the post mark and the mini postage stamp are from the stamp set Lovely Little Labels from the SU! Big Idea book and there are coordinating punches for these little stamps as well. I bought these when the catalog first came out last May and I'm not sure I have shown them to you!  They are adorable!

I used the sentiment SWEET from this set and one of the other mini punches on the card in this photo.  The card and envelope were both embossed with the vine embossing folder (another SALEABRATION item you can earn FREE).
These are several of the mini envelopes with cards that I will use for a variety of things - little notes to teachers, friends, my mother, lunch notes (cool idea for your kids!) and more.
There is also a great coordinating stamp set called PRETTY PETITES (shown above and featured in some of the images above) that you can earn FREE during SALEABRATION that also works really well with this punch.  You only have until March 22nd to earn these great items.
