HUGE KUDOS TO MY SISTER CHRISTINA. I told her I was going to see
the Anderson Cooper show and she said she knew the Producer and he would get my group VIP seating at the show! Whoo hoo! We arrived in NYC at CBS on 12/5 early in the am (but not too early- we all had a great breakfast) and were escorted to our seats at the front. AWESOME! We met the audience coordinator and some of the stage crew and producers and I even recognized some people from the Martha Show where Chris used to be. They recognized me and came over and I got some big hugs. The show was super cool. Anderson is not only HOT HOT HOT! He is so personable and friendly. During segments he comes down and talks to members of the audience, shakes their hand, answers questions, and takes photos. We got a really nice group shot as well, where he sat down with us. I'll be scrapbooking that as well (THANKS AMANDA HINDLE for asking him to sit and take a photo - and actually, Amanda and Kim got us the tickets to the show to begin with - didn't know my sister had ties at Anderson, but she's so fabulous, of course she does!) The highlight of the show was ANDERSON's PHOTOBOOTH. It's so cool. We were escorted to the front when the show was done airing (it's LIVE) and each member of our group got to go into the photobooth with him. Oh WOW! So super FAN FREAKIN TASTIC!
Meeting Anderson, and shaking his hand and being so close to him, were the highlights of my trip with a wonderful group of nurses from work! Certainly made our day. Each person in our group got a photo with him and met him. So very cool! Ok, this week has been super awesome - a trip to the beach with almost 70 degree weather in December, a HUGE WIN in Baltimore filling cannoli's and meeting Buddy the CAKE BOSS, a trip to NYC to see Phantom of the Opera with some fab friends, and then a MEET UP with ANDERSON COOPER. OMG, I'm in Heaven.
Christmas came early for me. What still lies ahead?
