STARBURST SAYINGS MEETS TAPE IT

The other day I shared a card I cased with the HELLO LOVELY sentiment from SU!  Well I totally modified that card with different colors and added the STARBURST SAYINGS stamp set.  I LOVE this layout and I love the TAPE IT stamp set.  Really looks like washi tape which is so HOT HOT HOT right now.  I then stamped YOU MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE and some starburst wheels and then DIE CUT them - YES!!!! I die cut them with the coordinating framelits by SU!  What a great card!  Some lucky friend or family member is going to receive this card.

Notice I added some glitz to the centers of the starbursts - adhesive backed rhinestones!  Love them! These are my favorite embellishments.  Such a clean and easy card and fun, fun, fun to create!

I saw this cake on PINTEREST!  I placed it on my facebook page saying how I'd love this cake since I love EASTER PEEPS!  I love M and M's also.  Guess What?  My friend Mary Jo actually made this cake and gave it to me when we celebrated my birthday last night at GINZA with some friends.

Catalog Premiere: Coming to you LIVE from Long Beach, California

NOW IS THE TIME TO JOIN SU!  Come to the Premiere.  I'll be headed to the event in Baltimore, MD.  I can't wait.  And for those of you who are happy to be customers, I will be ordering a FREE catalog for you. All you need to do is make a SU! purchase from me in April or May.

Last Friday SU! put up a post announcing a little event we’re calling the 2014 Catalog Premiere. We’ll be broadcasting to theaters in 39 cities on April 28 to unveil our amazing new catalog.

Just in case you missed it—the home of this event, the excitement epicenter, the place where the red carpet will be laid—is Long Beach, California.

Some of you may remember that Stampin’ Up!’s last live event in California was in 2008. When we were deciding where to hold this red carpet event—the PREMIERE of the catalog, we decided California would be the ideal place. (You might also be interested to know that the convention center is on the beach. Woooh!)
And what would a premiere be without stars? Naturally, we’ll be flying in “Stamp-lebrities” to introduce the 2014–2015 annual catalog to you. It’s going to be fancy. Think: ball gowns and black ties. 
What else? In addition to being one of the first to see the catalog, you’ll be with your friends as they see it. Not only that, but you get to KEEP the catalog. WAIT—there’s more to this daydream! You get to TAKE HOME stuff that is in the catalog. 
While attendees in all 39 of our event theaters will see and take home a little something from the catalog—members of our “live studio audience” will get a little something EXTRA. (Just sayin’!)
In Long Beach, you’ll also get extra event time! Just as the satellite transmission ends and the host signs off, you’ll realize: WE’RE NOT DONE! You’ll be able to stretch your legs, grab some treats, and enjoy one more hour of Stampin’ Up! fun.

Paper Pumpkin Pizzazz

I know that our monthly Paper Pumpkin kits arrive with pretty much everything you need to create a project—they even come with the project idea. The whole idea, of course, is that you can quickly and easily create a fun project, without the stress of creating the project and gathering the supplies.
But what if you like coming up with new ideas yourself? Personally, I’m a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) girl—I love creating projects that other people design, but sometimes I’ll change up a color palette or add a layer or switch out an accessory. And even though Paper Pumpkin is truly creativity made simply and easy, there’s still room for a little added pizzazz.
I thought I’d make my point by sharing these four cards, all made with the March Paper Pumpkin kit—and nothing else! All we did is add a few foil accents made with the foil that comes inside the kit! Can’t get much easier than that. . .

YOU'RE LOVELY SALEABRATION SU!

I created this card with 2 of the FREE SALEABRATION items I earned from SU! The YOU'RE LOVELY stamp set and the DECORATIVE DOTS embossing folder.  There's still time to EARN FREE ITEMS, but there is only 8 days to do it.  Head on over to my website to order today.

The designer paper I used is the WATERCOLOR WONDER dsp from the OCCASIONS SU! catalog.  The floral paper on the top is gorgeous. I just love the colors. When you turn that paper over - since SU! dsp is double sided - is greyish watercolored dots.  I stamped the blossoms from the YOU'RE LOVELY stamp set on top of that paper.  I also added twine that you might not be able to tell, but I sponged with TEMPTING TURQUOISE ink.  I also die cut the stamped label and added the LIVE HAPPY sentiment that comes with the set.  Butterflies were punched, embossed with the BIG SHOT and attached to the card.  I had some gold smooch spritz around and gave it some glitz.

The inside stamp is not SU! but a stamp I found at a local craft store a few years ago.  I liked the sentiment so I stamped it with whisper white craft ink from SU!
Reminds me of Spring!

HIP HIP HOORAY CARD KIT IS AWESOME DEAL! GET YOURS TODAY!

I'm in love with this HIP HIP HOORAY card kit.  I've been making cards like crazy and then using the cards I've made as templates for other cards.  My friend Pat Nuckels emailed me after she put her cards together and said it was one of the best she has worked with.  My customer Sally Evanicci ordered 2 additional kits after putting hers together. The quality is unbelievable.  You receive everything you need to complete the cards and more.

These are just some of the cards I made with the kit with some modifications.  That's one of the greatest things about the kit - I can add other embellishments or stamped images if I want to. If I want to take the kit to a retreat or scrapbook/craft event to work on, it's all there.
