We had a great time at the SU! CONVENTION this Summer. One of the highlights was the make and takes. I always enjoy the NEW IDEAS and the CREATIVITY. And...what would a SU! Convention be like if there were no stampin? SU! gave us some great NEW Stamps from the New Idea Book to make some fabulous projects. They also gave us supplies to make them. Here are 2 make and takes using the HELLO LOVELY stamp set. The first is a great card also using the GORGEOUS GRUNGE set we also received for FREE. I love the SU! embellishments especially the silver glimmer paper, the antique buttons, the dyed twine, and the washi tape. Are you familiar with washi tape? It's an awesome product with some great creative uses. Notice the calypso coral tape on the card and on the envelope. Washi Tape is becoming more popular and is really "HOT" in crafting right now. SU! has a great kit with online class you can purchase with a great collection of videos teaching washi tape. You can purchase that via my online store.

Here's make and take no. 2. It's one of the Tag A Box projects. In the catalog, there is a great pack of boxes you can decorate for gifts. We added the card stock and cut out feathers using our circle punch and paper snips. It was fun stamping on the card stock with the HELLO LOVELY set. The ribbon is stitched satin ribbon in the color SUMMER STARFRUIT.
These boxes hold Giardelli chocolates, Oreo or other store bought or better yet - homemade - cookies, and all kinds of great goodies to give. We used a portion of one of the stamps to make a little gift tag attached to the ribbon. I really loved this project.
We also received the RONALD MCDONALD House Stamp set TAG IT, which was featured this past Sunday on the REMARKABLE STAMP TOUR. But, there are still a few more make and takes to show you. Return here tomorrow for some of the other make and takes.
