POLISHED STONE JEWELRY

Tonight we had a jewelry class at Hsiao-hui's home. We made different kinds of jewelry using SU! products. We had a fabulous dinner and dessert as well. She is a wonderful hostess.

Linda Kincaid taught us how to make these gorgeous polished stone glass slide necklaces. These are just fabulous and fun to make.

We took reinkers and inked glossy white card stock. Then we stamped on top of the design with an image using black staz on ink.

I used the stamp set Fresh Cuts on this one. We also added these dangling beads. Linda got the glass slide necklace holders from Paper Wishes company.

Darlene and Millie are inking up their cotton balls with their favorite reinker colors. That is the first step to doing polished stone.

Hsiao-hui and Katie are doing the same.

Natalie working the polished stone technique.
Once you have inked your glossy card stock with the reinkers, you next add bits of silver
reinker. Really looks cool.

Here is Linda modeling her necklace.

This is a close up of Linda's necklace.

I'll post some more jewelry in the next post. Watch for My Build a Brad bracelet and another post with Hsiao-hui's ring and earrings.
