GET MOVING is the theme for this month's REMARKABLE BLOG TOUR.  I have designed a Grand Marquee Card. I have loved this moveable card idea for a long time.  I believe that I first saw it when my dear friend Linda Kincaid shared one for the holidays a few years ago.  I've always wanted to make one and googled the directions coming up with this simplified video by Jan Tink.

This card uses the designer paper GOLD SOIREE from SU! This is specialty designer series paper that has gold in it.  It's very cool and reflective.  I love the SU! colors that coordinate with this paper -
calypso coral, garden green, crisp cantaloupe, gold, soft sky and more.  I chose the calypso coral for the base card and used various scallop and circle punches from SU! to create it following Jan's tutorial.  The HELLO stamped on the front came with this month's MY PAPER PUMPKIN.  I always receive really cool stamp sets each month with MY PAPER PUMPKIN and this month was no exception.  The rose is from the NEW ARTISAN EMBELLISHMENT kit in the SU! OCCASIONS catalog.  I die cut the leaf with the framelits that are on the Weekly Deals and I embossed it and highlighted it with white craft ink.

Now when you open this card a secret message appears.  The first photo shows the start of opening the card and the second photo shows the card when it is open and the message magically appears - hence the "moving card."
The stamped confetti dots were stamped in gold encore ink and whisper white craft ink by SU! using the stamp set DOTTY ANGLES by SU!
The THINKING OF YOU is from the TAP TAP TAP stamp set by SU!  Both of these stamp sets I just had to have and ordered them as soon as they were released.

If you want to see a very brief video of this card in action click the you tube video below. It's very short (about 37 seconds only). Sorry the video is a little dark, but it's just to show you the idea. I totally filmed it "one handed!"
