We had an awesome stamp camp this past Saturday. It was one of our best. We all met at Cathy Weir's home for the day to make cards and crafts and eat and have fun and do silly things that ladies do when there are no men around (Linda K and Amanda H. have a new use for the new embosslet hearts- and I'll leave it at that!). Each participant designed either a card or project using at least one item from the Sale-a-bration or Occasions Mini Catalogs.
Paulette Hall is the awesome demonstrator for this card she cased which I absolutely love. She used used a great stamp set that SU! just featured in the last mini called Wandering Words. One of the stamps in that set is this very cool mailbox with hearts that fly out of it with a message of sending sweet thoughts. We colored the stamp with Stampin - write markers first and then stamped onto white ultra smooth card stock. Paulette gave us each some heart brads from her private stash and that was oh so sweet!
The card stock used is white ultra smooth and real red. Paulette accented the card with some brand new designer paper called My Sweet Pea (love it!) which has rose red coloring to it. She also used the new border punch that you can earn FREE during Sale-a-bration. as well as regal rose wide grosgrain ribbon and a vanilla library clip - both also from SU!
What a gorgeous card Paulette. I need to think about who is going to get this card since it is so very special! I love the envelope too!
More stamp camp cards/projects coming this week so don't forget to come back soon!
