A YEAR TO ROAR!

THE YEAR OF THE TIGER!
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!
Legend has it that in ancient times, Buddha asked all the animals to meet him on Chinese New Year. Twelve came, and Buddha named a year after each one. He announced that the people born in each animal's year would have some of that animal's personality. Those born in tiger years are natural leaders and excel as actors, pilots, writers, and managers.

Chinese New Year is the longest and most important celebration in the Chinese calendar.
The Chinese year 4708 begins on Feb. 14, 2010.
We are celebrating 2/14/10 the year of the Tiger. It is Chinese New Year and Hsiao-hui Lin has made some awesome little candy treats to celebrate.
These little treats easily hold chocolate nugget candies. They are adorable.

She made dogs, rabbits, tigers, cattle, mice and so many cute animals. We are taking them with us to NYC on Tuesday so we can give them to our good friend Martha Stewart when we go to her show!
The chick and the pig were so cute. Hsiao-hui you are very clever. You did an amazing job.
Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
