NEW TECHNIQUE CARD
BRAYERING BRIDE AND BRIDESMAID PAPERS BY SU!

Who would have thought that you could brayer the bride and bridesmaid specialty paper and change it's color to make it even more "wow." I have been wanting to do this for months with my stamping group and finally found the perfect project for them. Each month we do a 6 by 6 technique card that we place in our flip files for pretty samples that we like to keep for inspiration. With Valentine's Day here, I came up with the above sample. In the bride/bridesmaid specialty papers by SU! there are patterns to the paper. Brayer first with whichever color you like and then let dry for about 30 seconds and then wipe with a tissue to let the shiny areas comes through. The heart I punched is also brayered with real red ink and adhered with dimensionals to a heart embosslet that I die cut/embossed with the Big Shot. I also used some of our other new products on the tech card - the heart edge punch, the mini heart punch and the new tiny tag punch. I really love these new punches and stamps that SU! has come up with.

Now here is another example of brayered bride paper. I used the ink bermuda bay on this one and also the new bird/branch punch. This will make a nice card for a wedding or anniversary or some other special event. I think this could even be done for a First Communion, Confirmation, Graduation, or even thinking of you, get well, birthday, mother's day, etc. I really love the bermuda bay color and it goes so well with our silver card stock.

So here is the Bride specialty paper. It is ultrasmooth white. The Bridesmaid is a similar pattern and is ivory in color. These papers are pretty all unto themselves, but brayered, they look even more fabulous. There is also a grooms paper that is similar done in chocolate chip.
