Yes, it's another card that Arleen and I made at Janet Wakeland's home a few weeks ago. We had so many new things to play with and new stamps to try. Janet always lets us play with whatever she has in the studio. There were so many projects that day, I think we barely completed the projects she designed for us. We will definitely need to make a trip back. However, in a few short weeks, some of us sistah's and SU! demonstrators will be headed for Salt Lake City, Utah for SU!'s 25th Anniversary Convention. I can't wait to get many more ideas to share with you and the sistah's.
This card really makes me happy and fills my heart with joy. First off, it's bright and cheery. Second, it's got an adorable crushed curry butterfly. Did you know that Crushed Curry is a SU! color that was brought back? It used to be an IN COLOR a few years ago with Bermuda Bay and both of them came back this year. Third of all, there's a hexagon on the card and hexagon's are the hottest item now. You can buy a hexagon punch from SU! (YOU MUST GET IT! IT's DA BOMB!) with the stamp set SIX-SIDED SAMPLER (used here) in a Six Sided Sampler Bundle for a 15% discount! whoo hoo! I love how SU! is discounting items that go together when you purchase them as a bundle. There's another bundle used on this card as well. It's the Wildflower Meadow bundle which can also be purchased at 15% off. We used the Wildflower Meadow stamp set and the Embossing Folder that coordinates with it. See page 83 in the SU!
