Welcome back to the REMARKABLE STAMPERS STAMP OF THE MONTH BLOG TOUR! I'm so glad you have joined us. If you are starting here - I have some cool samples for you, then you can move onto the other sites on the tour. Follow the link at the end of each blog post to get to the next stamper's post and you will just be thrilled to see what you can do with this amazing MOSAIC MADNESS set. Also...if you are interested in purchasing this stamp - and of course you will be - then you should purchase the stamp set and the coordinating punch and SAVE 15%.
This card above is my sample. The card base is BAKED BROWN SUGAR which is one of the NEW IN COLORS for 2013-15. This color and the other in colors are really yummy. The gingham style dsp is from the paper pack GINGHAM GARDEN. I stamped on whisper white using ISLAND INDIGO. I then used the coordinating punch to punch out two of the mosaics. I added a smaller flower punch behind a larger jewel rhinestone.
Here's a close up:
The large jewels are perfect for this stamp set, but you could also use smaller ones. I have been previewing some cards I made this past week (see my other blog posts) and I've used the others as well. I really think it's these little extra added touches that make cards and projects so special and when you give a card like this to someone, they certainly can tell you thought enough to add something extra.
Here's the paper pack of GINGHAM GARDEN -
I also created a scrapbook page using the MOSAIC MADNESS stamp set and coordinating punch and the large jewels as well. This page features the BAKED BROWN SUGAR IN COLOR card stock in 12 by 12 size and I also used the complimentary ISLAND INDIGO card stock to border the photos and the words. The words come from the NEW SU! DSP called SOHO SUBWAY. I stamped images with ISLAND INDIGO ink and also added a border on the left all made from punched card stock. I'm so glad this new dsp came out because I can finally scrapbook all of my NYC photos. I've been to NYC each year for the last several years with various friends and family and I have only digitally scrap-booked highlights of each of the trips. This page features some of my favorite HOT SPOTS in the city.
Click on the photo of the scrapbook page or any of the photos in this blogpost to see the projects or the paper up close.
Below is the collection of SOHO SUBWAY designer series paper. There's quite a bit you can do with this paper. You can use whichever side you like, but consider purchasing a few packages, because you are going to love both sides. The designs are fabulous. For my scrapbook page, I cut some of the words out of the page that had highlights of NYC.
So.... do you need to see more really neat ideas using this stamp set and coordinating punch? Then you need to head on over to the next blog. Click on the Remarkable box below to visit my friend Andi Katz Potler's blog for more amazing MOSAIC MADNESS. And if you need to review any of the others' ideas, use the list at the bottom of this post.
