APRIL REMARKABLE STAMP OF THE MONTH TOUR

Here you go - another REMARKABLE STAMP OF THE MONTH BLOG TOUR
Today we present to you APRIL's SU! stamp set - SECRET GARDEN.
This is an absolutely FUN and CREATIVE FLORAL set that coordinates with an EXCLUSIVE set of SU! FRAMELITS for the BIG SHOT.

I stamped several flowers on SU! shimmer paper using a versamark pad and then embossing with white embossing powder.  You could also just emboss on whisper white card stock or watercolor paper.  Next watercolor with re-inkers (for the technique below - REINKER SPREAD - you pool water on the embossed design and just let the reinker drop onto the water puddle and spread) or you can use watercolor wonder crayons (these are retiring from the SU! catalog soon so you should purchase whatever colors are left if you have them) or you can recolor with just your aquapainter brush.  Next die cut the flowers with your NEW SU! Coordinating FRAMELITS.  Also die cut the leaves that come with the set.

I chose to try a technique I demonstrated to my team and customers a few years ago called the REINKER SPREAD technique.  It was demonstrated at a SU! Leadership on the West Coast by SU! demonstrator Connie Ingram I modified the technique a bit by also spritzing with alcohol and champagne shimmer paint by SU!  I wanted much more sparkle and glitz.

The dotted background paper is from the small designer series paper pack that is in the OCCASIONS CATALOG by SU!  There are a lot of cool papers inside that you can use.  This was a fun card as you saw with the card I designed using this same set for my SU! swap here.

  1. Your flowers are wonderful - and that pin dotted DSP on the background is wonderful! Have to try that floating technique. TFS!
