CINDY GESKEY ON THE 9TH HOLE CARD

This has to be one of the most clever cards I have ever seen.  Cindy Geskey a sideline REMARKABLE STAMPER taught us this card using the Pennants set by SU!  This is so clever. Love the dimension and the flag pole!

Notice that Cindy used several punches and also the NEW PIERCED CLOUDS embossing folder for the BIG SHOT by SU!

SPOTLIGHTING THE SWALLOWTAIL BY HSIAO-HUI LIN

This card is absolutely fabulous.  My Downline - Hsiao-hui Lin - designed this card and used the Spotlighting technique that she taught us at our last Stampin Sistah's event.  This stamp is awesome. I've now seen so many things done with it that I may just have to get a second stamp.  Here's her card.  Note that she used the BRAND NEW SU! HONEYCOMB embossing folder on her card  Gorgeous Hsiao-hui!

Paper Airplanes and Milk Cartons

 This is a great promotion available for a limited time!

This is the DSP selection in the promotion!  It's awesome!

You have to see how all of these are made, especially the wider, larger milk carton.  Make sure you head on over to the SU! blog for the info.  Just click here!

Step 1: Cut out two milk cartons, fold on the lines as shown, and cut off two panels as shown.
Step 2: Apply Sticky Strip to the tabs on both of the milk cartons.
Step 3: Attach the half milk carton to the full milk carton, then fold the bottom flaps under the top as shown. Close the milk carton with the Sticky Strip on the other tab. Fold the bottom panels under and secure together with SNAIL Adhesive.
Step 4: Take the half of the milk carton that was cut off and cut 3" from one of the panels.
Step 5: Use Sticky Strip to stick the 3" panel to the bottom of the milk carton to make it sturdier.
Step 6: Fill your carton with treats and close the top with Sticky Strip, a mini clothespin, or other closure of your choice.

These adorable little gift boxes would be great for a party favor, a quick thank you treat, or a birthday gift. What else would you do with a tiny paper airplane?

MDS MONDAY - LEMONADE STAND-EARN FREE FOR SALEABRATION

I used My Digital Studio to create this page for my scrapbook of my most recent trip to Orlando, Florida.  I was just there for the NEO conference which was really good.  Very intense course, but in  a fabulous location.  I had a great time catching up with some of the nurse practitioners and Neonatologists and meeting some great new friends as well.  Every night was fabulous and the weather terrific.  I ate a little too much. GIFT CARD HOLDER IN SHAPE OF A PRESENT

I created this at my upline Janet Wakeland's home last year for SU! saleabration - using FREE items we earned.  I never gave this away until this year when I decided to give it to my sister CELENA for her birthday.  I always give her a STARBUCKS gift card for her to splurge and get something for herself.  This was not too hard to make at all and I hope to make some more for gift cards to be used throughout the year for other gifts.

2012 SALEABRATION DSP GIFT CARD PACKS

I'm in love with the SU! COLOR POOL PARTY.  It's supposed to be one of the retiring IN COLORS in May with CALYPSO CORAL, another favorite.  Not to fear.  SU! will bring in some NEW IN COLORS.  However, when I saw the SU! 2012 SALEABRATION DSP on the CLEARANCE rack for only $2.19 - I had to purchase a few extra packs.  These colors are amazing together along with a few others.  The paper is simply elegant and gorgeous.  I used the papers to make some gift card packs for my colleague's wife who hosted a dinner party for our guests from China.  I also made the same packs for the guests.

 While the packaging and the tags and the butterfly card are completely my own designs, the other cards are CASED from various other demonstrators.  They are based on early 2012 designs so I don't recall who designed each of the cards.  I think Becky Morris who had me for secret sister at Leadership designed some of them and I think Kathy Winland may have designed the postage stamp one, but I'm honestly not sure.  Let me know if any of the designs are yours and I'll give you credit.

Tulle ribbons are really "in" this year and so too is the thin organza ribbon that I also used on the cards and the packaging.  Most of the cards had some type of 3D embellishment.  I really love these colors together, and I'll be making a few more of these card packs to give away and to send to friends.

SU! ARTISAN EMBELLISHMENT PROJECT - cased Janet Wakeland

A few weekends ago I got together with some of my downline and fellow sideline demonstrators and we made this awesome framed art project that we cased from my upline Janet Wakeland.  We used the SU! artisan kit from the SU! Occasions Catalog.  Love, Love, Love this set.  Love Love Love the Swallowtail stamp and the NEW pool party embossing powder!
