WORLD CARDMAKING DAY POST 4

I'm so excited because we still have this post and another for the WORLD CARD MAKING BLOG TOUR with the REMARKABLE STAMPERS today.  I hope you have enjoyed what you have seen so far.  I am really enjoying sharing these hand crafted cards.

Here's a really cool FUN FOLD card.  I got the idea from my friend Kathy Winland, from the card she made me for Christmas last year.  I'll show mine first and then hers, which I shared when I first got it, so some of you may remember hers.

This card is my card using the SU! stamp set Ornament Keepsakes which also has matching framelits.  I love the lacy elegant feel of the ornaments when stamped.  I also embossed the vanilla card stock with the SU! fancy fan folder and then the background folded piece with the SU! vintage wallpaper embossing folder. The sentiment Merry Christmas is from the TEENY TINY WISHES.
See how this card starts to open and has a few openings to it?  Here's the next layer:

I used SU! designer paper called CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS.  I stamped and die cut another ornament from the ORNAMENT KEEPSAKES stamp set.  It's stamped so rich with Cherry Cobbler ink and Old Old Olive. I added SU! rhinestones to it and it really makes it elegant.

And here's the last layer.  I added more of the same dsp and stamped the smaller ornaments sideways with the sentiment in the middle.

And now here is Kathy's card and her different layers.

This is a great idea and you could really CASE this style card easily for any occasion.   OK...hop on over to the next site on the blog tour.
