WORLD CARDMAKING DAY POST 2

Hi and welcome back to the REMARKABLE WORLD CARD MAKING BLOG TOUR!  I'm excited to bring you this next card.  It uses the SU! stamp set PERFECTLY PRESERVED.  I don't do any canning or preserving, but I love this stamp set and the framelits that coordinate with it.  The framelits make it so easy to perfectly die cut your stamped creations.

I stamped the image and then die cut the jar.  I also stamped the pear and die cut it with the framelits as well as the sentiment.  I made a slight error and ordered this set en francais and I'm glad that I did.  Stitching on designer paper is really in.  I used the dsp color stack for the dotted paper and then scraps from my scrap bin.  The butterfly is from the SU! stamp set Papillon Potpourri. Once I stamped the butterfly, I used my SU! punch that coordinates, to punch it out, then added crystal effects lacquer to the pear and the butterfly. Wow!  does that add a lot!

Here's another card I CASED from Patty Bjorgo.  This is an adorable idea.  Fill your canning jar with peppermints from the SU! set Sweets for the Sweet or the SU! Christmas Bingo set.  Now that gives me ideas to add other things to the jar.
Just like Patty, I printed the sentiment on the computer using My Digital Studio.
