SWEET MARY JO (CENTER)
WITH PAT (LEFT) AND I (RIGHT)
Welcome to the first ever Ultimate Pink Blog Hop – a collection of at least 75 different ideas from Stampin’ UP! demonstrators all over the globe featuring shades of pink in honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My cards are dedicated to one of my dearest and best friends Mary Jo Beksinski who has beat Breast Cancer twice in 15 years! She is my hero!
I have a second card that is just for fun, but will definitely be sent to Mary Jo. This card uses the SWIRLY SCRIBBLES thinlits dies by SU! to form a bra. I added some SU! adhesive backed pearls and embossed the entire card with the PETAL BURST embossing folder by SU!. The sentiment is from ROSE WONDER. The twine on this card and the card above is whisper white thick twine by SU! and was dyed by hand with blushing bride ink which was very easy to do. It's great to have white on hand because you can dye it any color. You will have to let me know what you think of this card. I know it also looks like sunglasses or owl eyes, so you can use your creativity to create other designs with these thinlits.
I am excited you are here. To continue to be inspired whether you’ve come from the person previous to me or after me on the list below - all participants are listed to help you as you journey among us being filled with pink inspiration. Remember that I'm no. 19 on the tour - Maria Pane.
I'll post most of the stamps and products I used on the tour in a post later today so just return here and click on the post titled PINK MONDAY - WHAT DID MARIA USE.
Thanks for taking part in this first every collaboration of Pink Ideas – To Love What we Do and “SHARE WHAT WE LOVE” – that’s the heart of it!
Love your projects Maria, I wish your friend continued good health. Happy to be hopping with you today to raise awareness.
