CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Well, it's July and that means that some of the stores will start putting up Christmas items for sale and that also means that Crafters will start making and selling Christmas crafts and cards.  I'm starting a Christmas Card club.  You can belong to the club and each month get all of the ideas you will need to complete your Christmas cards on time this year.  See my SU! website for the details (calendar section).  To start it off, I created this card using the stamp set Contempo Christmas.  I stamped the tree using my stampinwrite markers by SU! and then stamped the sentiment in cherry cobbler.  The card stock colors are cherry cobbler, whisper white and BRAND NEW - lucky limeade.  This new color is just a bit softer than old olive and a little more rich than certainly celery or pear pizzaz.  You will want this color and the other NEW in colors.  They are gorgeous.  And...last years in colors are still out for another year.  In colors overlap a year and each set will last 2 years.

Also on this card, I punched the NEW lace border punch by SU!  and added Rhinestones. New to SU! but not yet in my collection - is cherry cobbler embossing powder.  I can't wait to get it and it is currently on order.  This will look great embossed!  The Christmas tree on the card has been highlighted with dazzling diamonds glitter - such a great addition to any card for the holidays!

Speaking of embossed...I embossed the sentiment on the inside with white embossing powder. This is going to be the in thing this season. Get out your heat guns and join the trend.

The ornament that is part of the set was embossed with iridescent ice embossing powder on cherry cobbler card stock and then punched out with our SU! ornament punch which coordinates nicely with the stamp set.  I stamped the sentiment on the envelope with lucky limeade classic ink pad.  Love it!

This is the NEW lace border punch, exclusive to SU!  Make sure you get one soon.  You will be seeing a lot done with it in the coming weeks and it is a great addition to your crafting projects.
