FRENCH FOLIAGE

I was in need of 2 quick cards this am so I whipped out some white u/s SU! cardstock and my French Foliage Stamp set.  My ink pads are always out on my craft table so making quick cards is pretty easily.  These are a little different sized cards, but they were perfect for what I had to send.  I made both of them Thinking of You cards using the stamp set sincere salutations.

The second card got spritzed with SU! Shimmer mist which I love.  This is a great FALL stamp set if you are in need of one.  I love how all of the fall colors went so well together.

CARD FOR HOUSEKEEPING AT MY WORK

One of the housekeepers where I work asked me to make her a general card.  I was a little stumped, only in that she wanted to send it to a friend who is a man.  I'm hoping this will work.  Everyone knows I make cards and loves them.  I wish I had more time to make for everyone who wants one.  This lady works really hard and I know it will mean a lot to her.  I used the stamp set Upsy Daisy which I love.  This will certainly be one of those timeless stamp sets you reach for again and again.
My ink color and card stock color is marina mist.  I love this color.  I also did some embossing with my Big Shot and used some smooch spritz to shimmer up the card a bit.  The thinking of you is from sincere salutations.

CARDS FROM BEV'S CLASS

For those of you who were not at Bev Cvach's house a week ago, here is one of the cards we did. I just love the Upsy Daisy Set. It is really great. The Flowers were stamped with Baja Breeze for a tone on tone effect. The sentiment on the card is from the same stamp set. The envelopes were also stamped with the flowers, but after stamping once, I "huffed" on my stamp to moisturize what ink was still left on it and then stamped the flowers again slightly over to the right. It gives it a nice shadow type effect.
The brown card stock is chocolate chip and I used the scallop edge border punch to create the scallop. I wheeled the retro mix wheel in craft white ink over it. Wow! dramatic effect. The sentiments on the envelopes are from sincere salutations.

The group at Bev's house was super. They were a mix of first time and experienced stampers. Everyone had a great time. There were 12 of us there and we made two cards and a project. It was such a lovely evening and Bev is a super hostess. I hope to meet up with this group again.
The other card we did is posted here.
