LUIGI IS READY FOR TRICK OR TREAT

Here are some photos of my adorable doggie Luigi in his costume.  We are getting ready for Trick or Treat!
Don't you love his costume?  It says BOO on the back with a ghost!
Luigi looks like a wizard here.  I just need to get him a doggie magic wand!
Luigi is practicing his midnight 'HOWL!"

M DS LUIGI IS JAWS FOR HALLOWEEN

Here is my cute doggie Luigi all dressed up in his Jaws costume.  He had a great Halloween.  I suspect that he liked the hot dogs the best!  This page was done with My Digital Studio (MDS).

LUIGI in MDS

Can any dog be more handsome than this one?
My son decided to put my husband's sunglasses on Luigi.  Of course, my doggy did not want
anything on his face - hence JP's hand in the photo holding Luigi still for the photo.
By the way....I put the photo in MY DIGITAL STUDIO  and used some of the new IN COLOR designer paper and the brads and hodgepodge hardware.

FIRST SNOW OF THE SEASON

JP AND LUIGI TAKE TO THE SNOWY HILLS
IN LUTHERVILLE, MD

OK, according to Linda K, I have to eat my words. She and Pat Nuckels told me it was supposed to snow today and I said "sure, like it is going to amount to anything!" Boy, little did I know. It snowed all day. If this is a small picture of what is to come, we are in for a lot of snow this year. I don't think we have had this much snow in awhile. Too bad it wasn't on a Monday or other school day, as JP would have loved to get a day off of school. However...it was still a great day to get out the sled and go sleigh riding and even build snowmen or snow dogs. JP and Bill built a snow dog in the back yard. Even Luigi got in on the action. Since it was still snowing pretty hard and the snow was a wet cold snow, I did put Luigi's new coat on. This was the perfect snow man snow. Wish we could always get this kind of snow - pretty to look at, not bitter cold, fun to play in, but doesn't stick to the streets well. I think it was just not the right temp to stick on the street for too long. So...I guess as the song goes..."it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go!"

LUIGI's FIRST SWIM

Some of you were asking how Luigi is doing. You may know that he had major surgery the middle of June so almost a month ago. Poor little guy. He had abdominal surgery and knee surgery. He is doing better and I'm happy to say that his hair is starting to grow back and he is not limping as much as he used to. I thank my good friend Sue E. for telling me about the Pet Depot Hydrotherapy pool. Although the Vet said that it may not help him, we were happy to take him to cool off a little and to exercise the knee by swimming. He did a great job. He was pretty hesitant to get in and of course he got tired easily, but he did beautifully. We just got a plan so we will be taking him again. Hopefully, this will be practice for whenever we get lucky enough to have a pool of our own.

Luigi

One of the girl scouts in our neighborhood is making up an 18 month calendar of pets in the neighborhood. She asked us to send photos of our dogs and a little blurb about them. The pets will be featured by month and all proceeds go to the ASPCA. I sent three photos of Luigi and this is one of them. He is such a darling. When I call him to pose for a photo, he looks right up. He is the greatest puppy! Luigi Smith

LUIGI AND THE SNOW

I wanted to share with you a snow picture of my adorable puppy Luigi. He loves the snow. When it started last night, he was so excited to get outside and lick it. This am, we have about 4 inches on the ground and the kids are off from school. My son is going to love it.

JP and LUIGI

This little puppy loves my son JP. This is Luigi cuddling up next to him this morning. Luigi just turned 10 months old and is a Shelty-terrier mix. He is definitely more shelty in nature, but has just a little bit of playfulness like a terrier. He is a great puppy and very loving. Notice how JP is just not quite awake enough yet!

MY PUPPY IS THE GREATEST SPORT

This puppy is just the GREATEST! A few nights ago he was a great sport. He put my glasses on and actually posed for this photo. He's very smart, so maybe he wanted to see what I was reading. He should know already. I read my STAMPIN UP! idea book every day. In fact, I open it just before I go to bed (and then dream about it) and then look at it several times a day. I guess you can call me a SU! idea book junkie. My puppy is terrific about the book, too. He looks at it and never bites it. Good dog Luigi!
