ANOTHER TRULY GRATEFUL CARD SU!

I cased this card from ILINA CROUSE.  I think she may have even cased it from the SU! Holiday Book.  I love this stamp set and I only changed my card up slightly from hers.  This is an awesome stamp set to own and perfect for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

Here's another version with the envelope I stamped and then that version a little closer up.

FAREWELL CARD FOR ERIN - A COLLEAGUE - MDS MONDAY - HYBRID DIGITAL CARD AND A SCRAPBOOK PAGE

One of our colleagues is headed to upstate NEW YORK - a promotion for the hubby.  Here's the card I made for her that the group at work signed.  I used MDS, but it's a hybrid card. I designed the card first in MDS by SU! and then printed it on whisper white SU! card stock.  I embossed the card with clear embossing powder to seal it and then mounted it to marina mist card stock and added a ribbon.  We all signed the inside.

The envelope is made with the ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD and decorated a little shabby chic with SU! stamps and ribbons and buttons and some SU! DAZZLING DIAMONDS GLITTER.

Here's the design in MDS.

VIDEO ON HOW TO DO SU! STARTBURSTS

 STARBURST TECHNIQUE

COOL PROJECT TO TRY

This is a really cool technique demonstrating by SU! CARRIE CUDNEY.  I love how she teaches.  So easy to follow. And...this is an awesome technique you will love to try.

BONUS POST - NOEL - MPP - AWESOME THIS MONTH

If you are not convinced after seeing this post that you should give MY PAPER PUMPKIN (MPP) a try, I will be shocked.  It's such a great surprise each month to receive a little red box of crafting fun from SU!  Each month it's something different and you just never know what SU! is going to send. I just know that it is always fun.  Today was probably one of the BEST kits I've ever received.  I went write to town creating!  The stamp set alone is worth it's weight in gold.  The Christmas Wish stamp is terrific and I can't wait to use it on my Christmas cards this year.

I love the banner and the striped card base.  Adorable!  But most adorable are the stars that are sewn to flow over the bottom of the banner. SU! did the sewing, so this card is so quick to make.

The Wishing You a Merry Christmas sentiment is the best.  I LOVE this script font.

And this kit is jam packed with great goodies to make cards and crafts!  JOIN MY PAPER PUMPKIN today.

Look at all that comes in this awesome kit!  Maria

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE MARIA

I have to say I got in such a great digital scrapbooking groove with the SU! MDS Digital Scrapbooking Downloads Sale last week, that I created so many new pages.  With the 30% off DIGITAL print services sale currently going on at SU!, I'm going to have lots of pages and cards printed.  Here's a page I created last week showcasing my 5th birthday.  I think we hadn't moved to Montclair yet and we were probably in our house on Beverly Road.  Such fond childhood memories.  My mother baked a cake for each one of our birthdays and not shown here (because it probably didn't start as a family tradition until the late 70's) would be the banner my father would paint for each of our birthdays with our names and all of the things that we liked on it.
