REMARKABLE LAST MINUTE BLOG TOUR CONTINUES

DAY 3 REMARKABLE LAST MINUTE BLOG TOUR
ORNAMENT CARD
My very good friend Linda Kincaid designed this card for our Holiday SU! class. This features the stamp set Big on Christmas and the designer paper Christmas cocoa from the holiday mini catalog. Die cut 2 large circles with your Big Shot using Real Red card stock. Attach both with the round tab punch by SU!. Stamp the Noel or other from Big on Christmas on your card stock and color in with SU! markers. Use white gel pen and dazzling diamonds to highlight.
Inside card sponge real red classic ink around circle to give soft but colored look. Stamp holiday sentiment on inside.
Attach cording (from holiday mini) to top of card in round tab punch for effect and also if recipient wishes to hang card. Snowman above was stamped on white ultra smooth card stock and colored using SU! markers then cut out then added to card using dimensionals. Below is a close up of the envelope which features a sentiment and circle circus stamp set as ornaments hanging from the sentiment.
I have a truly "wow" project tomorrow, so don't forget to come back. And...as bonus...I'm going to post my holiday stamp camp projects starting on Monday. So lots more ideas right here on my blog today, tomorrow, Monday and more through Thanksgiving!

REMARKABLE BLOG TOUR DAY 2

EMBOSSED HOLIDAY CD TIN AND CARDS
Welcome to the REMARKABLE HOLIDAY BLOG TOUR DAY TWO. I hope you are enjoying all of these wonderful ideas for last minute cards and gifts. Today I wanted to showcase the gift I made for my ustamp swap friend Liz L. in Australia. The CD tin is embossed with silver embossing powder using the stamp set many merry messages. This is the perfect sentiment stamp set for the upcoming Holidays.
Inside the tin I have mini note cards that are just perfect to send notes, holiday wishes and thank yous. The cards and envelopes are by SU! and are made perfect with SU! ultra smooth white card stock. These come packaged all ready to stamp and decorate. I used several different stamp sets with real red ink and the Christmas Jingle simply scrappin kit.
The stamps used here are from Punch Pals. The sentiment from many merry messages unless otherwise noted.
This sentiment and snowflakes on the envelope are stamped using the stamp set snow swirled. These snowflakes are gorgeous. Seasons Greetings on the front of the card is stamped using Four the Holidays stamp set from the Holiday Mini catalog.
I used a real red fire colored rhinestone brad by SU! in the middle of the die cut snowflake above. I added a dimensional to the back so it really "popped" off of the card. The sentiment is from the stamp set Christmas Greetings and the skaters are from Winter Post set.
The designer paper and die cuts on these cards are all from the Christmas Jingle simply scrappin kit. This kit is great for cards, scrapbooking and 3D crafts. Do you recognize the very popular stamp DASHER on the front of this envelope. Did you know it is one of the best selling stamps that SU! made this year?
I brushed real red ink along the edges of all of the cards and envelopes to give a highlighted soft look. You can achieve this look by lightly sponging your ink along all of the edges of your work. The stamps used here are the snowflake from Winter post and the Happy Holidays from the Four the Holidays stamp set in the mini.
Here is another look at the embossed tin. I added 5/8 inch real red grosgrain ribbon in a blow on the outside and added a home made punched tag using punch pals stamp set and several SU! punches - word window, modern label and large oval.
The Christmas Jingle simply scrappin kit has 2 of every die cut page and lots of textured card stock and designer paper that is really gorgeous. This has to be one of the best kits SU! has produced. The price is really great and you can make over 50 cards with this kit.

REMARKABLE LAST MINUTE BLOG TOUR BEGINS

SUSAN'S CHRISTMAS STAR BOX and ORNAMENTS
Today we start the REMARKABLE LAST MINUTE BLOG tour and I'm delighted to share with you this wonderful holiday Star Box that my friend Susan Ehrhardt created for everyone who attended the Holiday Stampin Up! class this past week. I purposely waited to showcase Susan's amazing creation until today because it was truly worthy of a Blog Tour day 1 project. Susan is a NICU RN whom I've known for many years. For the past few years, she has really been "wowing" us with her creations. This star box for the holidays is no exception.
Susan used SU! holiday designer paper and the alpine ribbon that is in the SU! holiday mini catalog. I wanted to show you several views of the boxes so that you can see that the box is truly star shaped.
Susan never makes just one of anything. Here are several different ones using different holiday papers including the gorgeous Christmas cocoa papers.
And inside each box was a home made candy treat. Mmmm.
This side view showcases the folds of the star lengthwise.
Attached to the box were these adorable pyramid ornaments that she made. These can be taken off the box and hung on your Christmas trees.
And here is a close up of the ornaments. Two of them are made with the flocked designer paper from Christmas cocoa. The other designer paper is from the specialty paper To the Nines. The red stitched white grosgrain ribbon is from the mistletoe ribbon collection in the SU! holiday mini. If you are interested in making one of these boxes, email me for info.

I WON TICKETS TO THE PREMIERE OF NEW MOON

I just got back from the NEW MOON Premiere at Arundel Mills tonight. I won tickets to the first premiere in Maryland courtesy of the Baltimore Sun and took my friend Lisa Chattergee to see it. Oh my gosh it is fabulous! And Edward and Jacob are so sexy and gorgeous in this movie. I've read all of the books and this was icing on the cake. Both of us got an exclusive T shirt giveaway and a poster. It was awesome!!! OK....I'm sworn to secrecy about movie details, so I will just say that it is the best movie I've seen in a long time and I'm even more in love with Edward Cullen than ever before.

TOMORROW LAST MINUTE BLOG TOUR BEGINS

Tomorrow we will start the REMARKABLE STAMPERS LAST MINUTE BLOG TOUR. So get ready for some great LAST MINUTE Holiday Gift and Card ideas. I am working on some terrific projects for you to enjoy and will have the first creations posted tonight at midnight so come right here to start the tour. In the meantime, while I'm busy getting all of the posts ready for you, enjoy this wonderful gift idea from SU! using the top note die, cello bags, candy, red dotted grosgrain ribbon and Dasher and Christmas greetings stamp sets. This is really easy to make. Just fill a clear bag (SU! sells these) with candy and fold over the top. Place a Big Shot die cut top note over the top that you also folded in half. Stamp Dasher and cut him out with your paper snips and add to top note which you will also stamp the greeting on. Place several of these in a gift bag and give them out to all of those visitors you willhave over the holidays.

COLD AND CUDDLY

This is another card from last Diva day. Jan had this sample amongst all of her goodies for us to CASE. I love how it looks like the polar bear is really on ice - aka crystal effect ice. We embossed the bear with white embossing powder and he is really adorable. This set is called Cold and Cuddly and uses night of navy, bashful blue, and sahara sand card stock; as well as the snowfall printed window sheets. The sentiment is from Grateful Greetings - which is a great set to have from the mini catalog because it has all of the fall and winter holidays including Valentine's day in it. The ribbon is striped grosgrain in bashful blue. Ink used were white craft ink and night of navy classic ink. All supplies SU!

HOLIDAY CARD IDEA

This is a holiday card I made at Jan Wakeland's home at the last Diva day. I used the Christmas cocoa designer paper from the SU! holiday mini as the accent piece with the snowflakes on it. I also stamped the holiday ornament and punched it with the companion punch. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the stamp set Four the Holidays, which has some great sentiments in it. The base card stock is real red and then I layered it with soft suede that I texturized with the Big Shot. This is a new texture plate that recently came out...so you may not have it yet. It is a gorgeous one for only $3.95 and has a flourish texture on the opposite side. The ribbon is real red grosgrain and is so nice on top of the ornament.
Ok
...did anyone know there were only 39 nights until Christmas?
