HSIAO-HUI WOWS US WITH DREAM GARDENS

This card is amazing! It was designed by Hsiao-hui Lin, my downline and demonstrated at our meeting at the end of April. She used the stamp set Dream Gardens and the the designer paper nouveau gardens. How beautiful is this card!!!! What really makes it a "wow" card is that she used the lattice die to get the oriental fan effect by cutting out just part of the card with the die using the Big Shot.
These designer papers are perfect for this style card. Unfortunately, they will probably retire June 30th, so get yours now while supplies last.
The envelope is under the card. The card stock base is basic gray and the stamp on the inside of the card is from Thoughts and Prayers.
Great job Hsiao-hui! The dimensionality of this card is just stunning!

C IS FOR CAT!

Recently my good friend Lisa Chattergee had to put her cat to rest. I was so sorry to hear this. For those of you who have a beloved pet friend, you know how difficult this can be. I made Lisa this card using the C is for Cat stamp set and the Thoughts and Prayers set. The brad is a chocolate chip flower brad made exclusively for SU!
I love the little paws on this card. You can get them in either the C is for Cat or D is for Dog stamp sets. They are a must have for stamping projects including our little friends. Oh, and the heart stamp came from the stamp set Things I Love. I added dimension to my card and envelope with SU! crystal effects.

THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

A great co-worker in the NICU lost her husband to cancer this past week. He was the love of her life and I was so sorry to hear this news. I met up with her at the wake on Friday and promised I would say some prayers for her. This is the card I will be sending her today. I thought it was more appropriate to put the praying for you on the front rather than the sharing in your sorrow sentiment. I know this is a more simple card, but that is the beauty of it. It was also not easy to stamp up so I can get it off in the mail first thing in the am.
