MODERN MEDLEY IS THE DOWNLOAD OF THE DAY! MDS SU!

I created this tag for today using My Digital Studio.  The 1/2 price download today is MODERN MEDLEY OVERLAYS kit.  It's terrific.  There are papers and overlays.  The overlays function as stamps and you put them on top of your digital projects like you would a transparency.  I used the musical notes for this tag.

HSIAO HUI'S SPOOKY HALLOWEEN PARTY - MDS PAGE IN HONOR OF DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING WEEK SALES AT SU!

We had an incredibly fabulous time at Hsiao hui's Halloween Party last night.  She is an awesome hostess.  The party was the best yet.  We all dressed up - yes, we were challenged to go beyond ourselves.  We had a great time - dressing up, crafting (will show what we made soon), eating awesome Halloween foods, and playing Halloween Bingo!  Thanks Hsiao hui for a great evening.

Here's my SU! MDS page commemorating the event. Click on the photo to see it in greater detail.

SU! FESTIVE FLURRY - ONE WEEK FROM TODAY - SU! REMARKABLE BLOG TOUR! THE TOUR YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!

Next Sunday we will once again have a terrific line up of blogs presenting stamp sets from the HOLIDAY CATALOG by SU!  One of the sets to be featured is the HOT SELLING stamp set FESTIVE FLURRY. This set has really cool framelits for your BIG SHOT that make die cutting these snowflakes a breeze.  We have some cool projects to show you.  Here's a preview of the set in this card that also features the stamp set CHRISTMAS MESSAGES.

I stamped the snowflakes and die cut each one individually and dimensionalized the snowflake with SU! dimensionals.  They really make the snowflake POP!

Here's looking down a little at the card to see how these snowflakes layer.  I stamped some with the SU! SILVER ENCORE INK PAD on BERMUDA BAY card stock and on the whisper white card stock I used BERMUDA BAY ink.  The very center star, I did hand cut but it was so easy!!!! And here's another view.

I stamped a coordinating envelope and this card is ready to go.  The center of the snowflake is a SU! rhinestone that adds just the perfect touch.

See you all back here next Sunday.  Tour starts at the beginning of the day - 12:00 Eastern time.  Don't worry about the time change...and turning back the clocks this am - if you do that...clocks don't change until 2 am est.  In any case, the tour is next weekends and stays up so you can always go back and check it out later or the next day.  I'll see you here next week for the tour, but for the most part, I'm often right back here each day with something new.

Moments Ago was created by one of our in house Concept Artists. Here’s what Jen said about the download: “Moments Ago is a collection of handwritten words. These are words I thought would tie in with memory keeping perfectly.”
Don’t you wish you wrote like this all the time?  Well, now at least you can with MDS! Click here (SP/EU) to get this free kit. (But it’s only FREE today, so don’t procrastinate)

Today our Daily deal is the Hello There Kit. Today only, you can get this kit for 50 percent off!

Hello There Kit (NA, EU, SP)

This kit also happens to be Jen’s favorite, so of course we asked her create a layout using this kit and the new Moments Ago Kit.

Designed by: Jen Campbell  “My paper crafting addiction began when I discovered scrapbooking about 15 years ago.  I love taking a single photograph or memory and turning it into a work of art. Using MDS is a wonderful way to preserve memories. While I typically create with paper, there are some definite advantages to creating digitally. I certainly waste less paper. One of my favorite downloads of the last year is Hello There.  It’s a fun collection of papers, stamp brushes, and embellishments and works well for any type of project.  I love the colors, patterns, and elements in this download.”

Another one of our amazing design team members created two awesome projects using the Hello There Kit.

Designed by: Kim Van Diepen “This is one of my favorite kits because all the elements are universal for ANY layout or project.  With the ability to crop and change the colors of elements it makes this kit a must have. I loved this kit so much I decided to create a second project to share with you.”

Designed by: Kim Van Diepen “This project made me giddy with excitement because the process is simple and fun and uses the print and cut feature with my e-cutter.”
We hope you have fun using both of these kits to create your own work of art. Show us how you used the Hello There and Moments Ago Kit to be entered to win 20 dollars worth of MDS downloads.   Upload your project to the My Digital Studio gallery and tag it “Hello There” by November 13 to be entered to win. The My Digital Studio team will announce the winners on the November 15.

HALLOWEEN AT OUR HOUSE - MDS

Here's a digital scrapbook page I created using SU! MDS showcasing the preparation of the treats!  Luigi was a good sport.  He sat by the table while the trick or treaters got their candy.  We had quite a few cool decorations.  Will have to do a page just of those sometime.  JP made Keep Calm signs and he set up the table and the candy.  We handed out over 200 pieces of candy.  The temp was a balmy 70 degrees and clear at the start of the trick or treat, but just after 7 pm it started to rain and cool down a wee bit.

SU! MONSTERMANIACS - HALLOWEEN MAY HAVE BEEN YESTERDAY, BUT THERE'S STILL TIME FOR A MONSTER MASH!

That's right - Halloween may be over - but there's still time for a monster mash.  In fact, most of us Stampin Sistah's are headed to Hsiao hui's home tomorrow for a cool Halloween gathering.  So we will be partying in the spirit of Halloween.  That said...monsters do not have to go back into hiding, In fact, quite the contrary...I hope they come out...that is...if they are as cute as the ones featured in the NEW SU! stamp set MONSTERMANIACS.  This is a stamp set that was designed by someone not even employed as an artist by SU!  There was a contest over the summer for anyone to design some stamps and this one won.  It's too darn adorable not to own.  A few weeks ago I mentioned that it would become part of my collection, and as soon as it was available it was on my SU! order. It arrived last week and I've taken it out to start making some cool creations with it.

Here's my first one...stamped on a card for a dear friend.

The inside of the card features the sentiment YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MUCH HAPPY!  It's from the SU! stamp set YIPPEE SKIPPEE.  I bought this set mainly for this sentiment.  I truly believe it!  And the friend who is receiving it brings me lots of happy.  She sent me a STARBUCKS gift card out of the blue last week and it made me really happy!!!!  Thanks friend!

By the way, the Oh What Fun sentiment on the front of the card is from the NEW SU! stamp set CHRISTMAS MESSAGES.  I know I know!  It's from a Christmas stamp set...but now you see there is versatility in some of these sets.  And the tag on the front of the card is from the EXCLUSIVE SU! hostess set PERFECTLY YOU in the SU! Holiday Catalog.
