GREAT THANK YOU CARD

Linda Kincaid demonstrated this card that she cased from SU!'s Stampin Success magazine for demonstrators.  The card uses the card stock colors poppy parade and daffodil delight, 2 of our newest colors.  Wow!  Don't these colors look great together?  Such happy colors.  Linda enhanced the card and took it one step further by embossing the poppy parade card stock with the elegant lines embossing folder, exclusive to SU!  The flowers are die cut from a sizzlet for the Big Shot called Floral Fusion.  The Stamp set she stamped on the front of the card is On a Pedestal.  There is a sentiment with the word wonderful popped up and the pedestal is an ornament on it's side next to the words.  Very clever!
The inside of the card is so colorful and joyful.  It is from the stamp set For Everything.  I just love this set and so glad Linda has it.  I love how she colored the sentiment in with her stampinwrite markers and added flowers from the itty bitty bits punches with brads.
Rita and Patty are above working on their versions of the card!
Linda showed us some other samples of stamped images using the stamp set On a Pedestal.  I love how she made the cake and then used the bon bons in the set for ice cream scoops.
 Really a neat idea!
Turn the bon bon upside down and you have a tropical drink.  The little cherry comes in the stamp set also!
The samples were so clever and really bright.  These are the types of cards I really love to send and to receive.
Thanks Linda and a thank you to Hsiao-hui also for helping demonstrate at Pat's.  A Big Thank You to Pat for hosting us.  Pat served us delicious homemade soup and crackers with hummus and handcrafted caramels.  It was a lovely evening!

CASED from the NEW IDEA BOOK

I copied this right out of the catalog but I modified it a bit. If you go to page 88 in the NEW SU! idea book you will see almost the same card. The catalog uses Bugs and Kisses - a great SU! set. I chose to use Animal Stories instead. The card stock base is chocolate chip. The designer paper is Tall Tales. I stamped the elephant in brilliant blue and the circle in rose red. I ran the circle through the Big Shot to emboss it with the texturz plate dots. The brilliant blue card stock square is punched with the SU! punch spiral. The ribbon is old olive 5/8 inch grosgrain. The sentiment is from On a Pedestal Stamp Set.

On A Pedestal

This card uses the new SU! stamp set On A Pedestal. It is a fabulous set. You can put almost anything on this cake stand. The set is pretty inexpensive also - only $19.95 (#113814). I stamped the images on whisper white card stock using rich razzleberry ink. I added dazzling diamonds to the top of the cake for a nice shimmer. These images were placed on razzleberry lemonade dsp, which was backed by crushed curry card stock. I embossed birthday sentiments in white from the set on your birthday. The card base is rich razzleberry that I embossed with the Big Shot Texturz. I love this effect.
