MORROCCAN NIGHTS BY LISA C

My dearest friend Lisa and I took a SU! road trip to our upline's last week.  We each created cards and shared a duplicate (we usually make two when we stamp) with each other.  Lisa chose to stamp with the Morroccan Nights SU! stamp set.  She did an amazing job using the NEW bronze embossing powder, wink of stella, rhinestones, and the new stamp set.  I love this card and the inside also.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELA AND A FEW OTHER CELEBRATIONS

I want to wish my lovely sister in law Angela a very happy birthday!  Today is her day. This is the card I made for her. Note that the balloons on the card were punched out with the SU! balloon punch!

I also stamped her envelope and then while I was at it, I stamped the envelopes for a coworkers birthday card (Bonnie) and a congratulations card for a medical colleague who was promoted big time to chief!

The watercolor look is really "in" and you can paint it or stamp it!  So cool! Below is her card which she loved.

The card I created for Melissa is a cased card from Connie Heisey who sent me a similar one when I promoted within the SU! family.  This card is so pretty up close with the glimmer and was perfect for a congratulatory card.

BRAND NEW HOLIDAY SU! GHOULISH GRUNGE MEETS JAR OF HAUNTS

As a SU! demonstrator I was able to preorder from the NEW SU! HOLIDAY CATALOG. OMG!  Yes! OMG! it's an awesome catty!  I love just about everything in it!  First up on my order was GHOULISH GRUNGE - a great background and addition stamp that will compliment any craft project or card any season.  I used the cobweb, but wait til you see what else is included in the stamp set.  It will be available on Sept. 1 and I promise you that you will want it.  Also...I had to have JAR OF HAUNTS.  This stamp set compliments that JAR OF LOVE stamp set bundle. I don't have that bundle yet, but guess who has it on their next order?  Yes, you guessed it!  ME!

So I used non-traditional Halloween colors for this card - well, sort of...cherry cobbler and real red made excellent colors for blood.  This jar is so cool!

This was for a swap I was in with the REMARKABLE STAMPERS.  I didn't put the face on all of the jars as I came up with that after I made and sent the swap.  But I really like it. What do you think? And isn't the little spider adorable?  He comes in the set also, and you can place him wherever you would like.  The rhinestone was colored with a red sharpie!  So cool!

So Halloween is about 2 months away. Get your products ready for crafting this Fall and for Halloween. It will be here before you know it!

I posted in the blog tour the other day that I wasn't even going to purchase this bundle from SU! but then I saw all of the amazing things done with it and all of the great uses it has. We sent this card to my dad who is recovering from surgery.  At each leaf, I signed one of our names, Maria, Bill, JP and Luigi.  The other leaf had the date.  And look at the envelope below.  The trees are so beautiful.  And I love the birds!

I am absolutely crazy IN LOVE with the SU! SHAKER BIRTHDAY CARD FROM LISA CHATTERJEE - LOVE IT!

This is the card my dear friend Lisa Chatterjee gave me for my birthday. It's a shaker card.  The new foam adhesive dimensional lines from SU! are perfect to elevate the window when you are making a shaker card. Thanks Lisa!

ELVIS PRESLEY - IN REMEMBRANCE!

I created some Elvis cards for friends and family to commemorate the passing of Elvis Presley on 8/16/77.  He is certainly a legend who accomplished amazing things.  He's a favorite of my mother who grew up in the 50's and even was in an Elvis Presley film.  Happy Anniversary in heaven Elvis!
