SCARY FUN - REMARKABLE STAMPERS PINWORTHY BLOG TOUR NOW!

I'm so glad you are joining us for another REMARKABLE STAMPERS PINWORTHY BLOG TOUR.  Tonight it's SCARY FUN!

We have so much to share with you and we hope that you will get some great ideas for Halloween or some other scary event!
My first sample is a card using the SU! NEW HOLIDAY CATALOG stamp sets FALL FEST and GHOULISH GREETINGS.  I stamped the ghost and pumpkins and die cut them with the coordinating framelits.  The greeting was stamped and die cut using the word bubbles framelits.  I think framelits and the BIG SHOT are the "cat's meow" or the "ghost's sheer delight! So, I mean they are just too cool. The background is card stock embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder by SU! and swiped with whisper white craft ink.  The ghosts, the pumpkins, the word bubble and the wreath are sponged along the edges with tangerine tango SU! ink.

Oh, and the wreath!  Did you see the cool two toned wreath? The wreath is my new favorite HOLIDAY stamp set - called WONDROUS WREATH!  Believe me - YOU WANT THIS stamp set for your Holiday crafting.  Check out the Holiday Catalog Page above and see the awesome Christmas Holiday samples made with this wreath.  I made the wreath a little more ethereal with the two tones of gray and dazzling diamonds glitter which I also added to the pumpkins and the ghost. Do you think the ghost would look good with some googly eyes?

My second sample is actually made with my FIRST HANDCARVED STAMP using the UNDEFINED kit from SU!.  I handcarved something kind of easy - a bat.  You can see my bat in the photo below.  I stamped him a few times on the full moon and highlighted his eyes with the silver marker from SU!  I LOVE this marker, the gold one and the white chalk.  Forget the white gel pen...get the SU! WHITE CHALK marker.  I've said this before, that marker is "da bomb!"
The HANDCARVED stamp set from SU! is called UNDEFINED and comes with some really remarkable tools for carving, rubber and wood blocks to make several stamps, foam cling mount and a die based marker specifically designed for the rubber you carve on, to define the outline and highlights of what you will carve.

Until last night, I hadn't carved anything since high school art class.  It sure was fun and I didn't have to spend a lot of money buying all of the scary and fun Halloween stamps in the idea book right away.  I love Halloween so I will likely be getting all the stamps in the catalog!

I also used the new trio of mini punches by SU! to punch out some silver glimmer stars.  The brads were chocolate chip colored and I just took a sharpie marker and colored them black. The other sets are star stamp from the PROJECT LIFE exclusive stamp set by SU! POINT AND CLICK.  Check it out in the main idea book on page 27.  There are some other exclusive SU! and PL stamp sets in the book and the HOLIDAY CATALOG as well.  The HAPPY HALLOWEEN is from an EXCLUSIVE stamp set you can earn from now until October 31st called GOOD GREETINGS.  I love this font and the other greetings.
