This was the
beautiful Valentine's Day card that my friend
Rita made up for us. She stamped everything and die cut all of the hearts and pieces using
SU! card stock, stamps, and framelits. All we had to do was put the valentine together.
Rita said that one of her crafting groups from when she was younger get together regularly to scrapbook and craft and this was a take on a project she made with them. It's absolutely gorgeous and was a huge hit at our gathering this past Saturday.
Rita stamped it all and added all of the finishing touches like the sponging. She then demonstrated to the 10 of us how to put it together so it stands so beautifully. This is definitely a keeper.
I love all of the stamping especially the stamping of the
En Francais on the paper for the rose. These are the spiral flowers that you can make using the die cut in the
OCCASIONS catalog by SU!
There's also some embossing of the larger red heart in the backgrounds. And I
LOVE the tickets!
This card folds flat for mailing. Although the rose will be bulky. A card this gorgeous is worth the extra care to mail and package up.
Thanks
Rita for sharing this with us!
Here are some fun photos from the event.
