REMARKABLE STAMPERS PINWORTHY BLOG TOUR - HEARTFELT BANNER DAY!

Hello again!  It's time for the REMARKABLE STAMPERS PINWORTHY BLOG TOUR for FEBRUARY.  This month we are featuring BANNERS!  These are just the hottest items around.  And...you can even acquire this HEARTFELT BANNER kit that I used for my offering this month for FREE.  This is the SU! HEARTFELT BANNER DESIGNER KIT that is offered during SALEABRATION until March 31st 2014.  Go ahead and PIN this project (wave your mouse over any photo - or if receiving this in an email post, there is a pin it button at the bottom of your email).  You will definitely want to recreate it with your own supplies or earn the kit for FREE.

This was the first SALEABRATION item that I earned for FREE.  I saw it in the SALEABRATION catalog by SU! and had to have it.  At $19.95 retail value, this is a great kit to earn FREE for just spending $50 on SU! items that I love.  It's a quality kit with so much in it. There are printed pennants, white paper doilies, fabric pennants that I painted - woo hoo! - fabric heart accents also painted, felt balls, mini clothespins, linen thread and a needle to sew your banner together.  You can make the banner as shown below or you can use the individual pieces in your scrapbooking, card making or other crafting.

Here are some close ups of my banner that I hung over my front door for photographing.
I added photos to my banner just as in the SU! kit photo (see below).  You could make yours plain or add scenic photos, or poems, or little notes to your loved ones.  You could make it a calendar and pin up to do lists or places to go.
The pieces of this kit are really cool.  The fabric banners and pennants come in a neutral color but I painted them using white acrylic paint that I colored with SU! reinkers to match the color scheme of the other banner pieces.  They dried pretty quickly too.  I even painted the fabric hearts.  You could stamp on these, but I'll save that for another day.  The colors I used were calypso coral, coastal cabana and pear pizzaz - some of the banners and pennants were darker than others and they just had more reinker drops added the acrylic paint to get the deeper color.
I really like the felt pom poms that come in this kit.  They are so cheery and add color and pizzaz to the banners and pennants.  They were easy to attach to the linen thread with the needle that comes in the kit.  You can space out the felt balls or you can put them pretty close together. The doilies add a bit of elegance, and I love those little clothespins.  They remind me of being a little girl and playing house with my doll's clothes.
Although I hung this over the front door for the photo shoot so you could see the banner spread out, I might just leave it hanging underneath my scrapbook holder frame.  Last month I featured that scrapbook page.  I haven't decided yet where it will finally go, likely in my craftroom over the desk so that I can see the fun pictures of my family when I craft - lots of inspiration in those photos for scrapbooking.
And here's the kit as packaged showcasing the neutral products that I ended up painting.
You can see all of the cool products in the kit.  This is a GREAT VALUE you GET FREE!
This is one of the projects completed by the SU! design team.
