Continuing our Chinese New Year Swap Cards....Here's the next one....
You can always find unique homemade cards over here at Stampin and Scrappin with Riri. Today is one of the more unique cards I've seen in a long time and it's made by none other than my downline Hsiao-hui Lin. This card is really cool. I love her use of the SU! lattice die for the Big Shot in the center of the card. It looks like it just wants to twirl there. Hsiao-hui used the Take it to Heart stamp set and the Everyday Enchantment papers (do you see how neat these paper are? There are so many really cool designs in the pack) which she earned FREE for SU! Saleabration.
Hsiao-hui also used the brand new Heart Framelits for the Big Shot to die cut her valentines/hearts. Would you guess that the predominant color of this card is Poppy Parade? It's one of our in colors. It's a really neat shade of red and reminds me of the glass slippers in the wizard of oz, even though those were supposedly ruby. (on my tv they show up Poppy Parade, lol!)
Here's another view of the card - with the card somewhat open. You can really see how unique this is in this picture. Click on the photo to enlarge and see better detail.
I really like the use of vintage lace by SU! which you can see is on the front of the card. Great job Hsiao-hui!
